Résumé

Instead of communicable diseases, developing countries are now seeing serious increase in non-communicable disease and Anemia is one of major problems in developing countries like Pakistan especially in under developed areas like Balochistan. Anaemia is prevalent in certain area of this continent. Prevalence of Anaemia in ethnic groups of Balochistan are still desire its due attention. The people affected belong to different ethnic groups with low socio-economic status and are unable to afford the even economical iron therapy diagnosis, treatment. In some cases bone marrow aspirates and immunodiagnostic facilities are needed for diagnostic purpose. Results showed that prevalence of anemia was high in more than fifteen years of age group, females suffered more with anemia as compared to males in the ethnic groups. The geographical location of province itself was a problem, which lies between 24 - 55' and 32 - 04 north latitudes and 60 - 45 and 70 -14 east longitudes. It is the biggest province in terms of area covering 347,190 sq. Kms, about 44 percent of the total area of the country. Balochistan in accordance with a comparatively modern political division of the state of Pakistan may roughly be described as comprising the south-west mountainous region stretching from north to south, and covering 44% of the area of the country. It is a wild, rugged and sparsely populated province bordering Afghanistan and Iran. The Feroza District Khuzdar [Baloch] situated in south, west in the National High way towards Karachi on distance from Quetta about 255 k.m. The Killi Qamardin Karez District Zhob, [Pashtoon] Balochistan in north east Quetta Valley Distance 430 Km to adjacent Afghanistan Borders
