Effects of intervention based on WeChat on blood pressure control in patients with hypertension：Meta-analysis / 预防医学

Objective@#To evaluate the effects of the intervention based on WeChat on blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension. @*Methods@#The databases of CNKI，Wanfang，VIP，PubMed and the Cochrane Library were researched for the literatures about effects of the intervention based on WeChat on blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension published from 2011 to 2018. These papers were retrieved and evaluated according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Stata 12.0 software was used for meta analysis.@*Results@#Eleven out of 880 papers were included into meta analysis. There were 1 174 cases，with 587 cases in the experimental group and 587 cases in the control group. The results of the meta analysis showed that compared with traditional health intervention method，the intervention based on WeChat significantly reduced the level of systolic blood pressure（WMD=14.77，95%CI：11.76-17.77）and diastolic blood pressure（WMD=8.17，95%CI：5.67-10.67）of hypertensive patients. Subgroup analysis showed that the longer the intervention，the better the effects（P<0.05）. @*Conclusion@#The intervention based on WeChat is more helpful than traditional health intervention for blood pressure control of patients with essential hypertension.

Malignant lymphomas of the nasal cavity and Waldeyer's Ring: clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical study

The clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical finding of 10 cases of nasal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and 23 cases of Waldeyer's ring NHL were studied. Immunohistochemically, nasal NHL expressed T-cell markers exclusively, whereas the NHL of Waldeyer's ring were of both T-cell (56.5%) and B-cell lineages (43.5%). Angioinvasiveness by tumor cells was exclusively noted in the T-lineage lymphomas. Epithelial hyperplasia, epitheliotropism by tumor cells, and extensive invasion of adjacent normal tissue were more prominent in T-cell lymphomas than in B-cell lymphomas. T-lineage lymphomas showed distant extranodal spread pattern involving the skin, soft tissue, stomach, spleen, and the liver, whereas B-lineage lymphomas tended to localize in the lymph nodes. The survival rate of Nasal NHL was similar to that of Waldeyer's ring NHL. Although not statistically significant because of small sample numbers, immunophenotype, histologic groups of monomorphic lymphoma, and stage had prognostic importance. In general, T-lineage lymphomas presented with a higher stage than B-lineage lymphomas (p < 0.05)-and overall survival was poor. Stage I disease showed a much more favorable prognosis than stage II disease. Monomorphic lymphomas had a shorter survival than polymorphic reticulosis (PR) or lymphomas with features of PR. This result in conjunction with the morphologic transition between them suggested that monomorphic lymphoma may represent the most advanced stage in the spectrum of PR, lymphoma with features of PR, and monomorphic lymphoma.

A Case of Renal Oncocytoma Associated with Massive Central Necrosis and Hemorrhage / 대한비뇨기과학회지

Renal oncocytoma is a rare, benign tumor, which is characterized by homogenous oncocytic cellular features without central necrosis or hemorrhage regardless of its size. Necrosis, although absence of which is emphasized in the most literatures, can rarely occur in oncocytoma. We reported here a case of renal oncocytoma in a 46-year old man, which tumor of his right kidney had exceptionally massive central necrosis and hemorrhage.

An Experimental Study on the Influence of DDVP upon the Kidney

With the progress of farming and foresting, the demand of agricultural pesticide has been remarkably increased and accordingly, its intoxication has been widely publicized. Among the pesticides, organophosphorus chemicals has been believed to be almost nontoxic because they are not accumulative in the tissue. This study is attempted to examine the effects of DDVP which has been used most frequently on the kidney. And they were divided into normal and experimental groups. The results obtained from this experiment are as follows. 1) BUN, serum creatinine are increased in the group of DDVP administered while serum cholinesterase is suppresed significantly. 2) Microscopically, swelling and degeneration of tubular cells and hyaline casts in tubules. Ultrastructually swelling of mitochondria, partial fragmentation of cristae and electron dense bodies in the kidney are observed in the group of DDVP administered.
