Résumé

Objective To analyze the residents' satisfaction with the enforcement of The Regulations of Tianjin Municipality on Smoking Control in Public Places (hereinafter referred to as The Regulations) and its influencing factors. Methods From November to December 2020, 16 districts of Tianjin were selected as the research site, and one street was randomly selected from each district. The accidental sampling was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 4,160 permanent residents in Tianjin. χ2 test was used in univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze and adjust the confounding factors. The public satisfaction and its influencing factors were analyzed. Results A total of 4 022 questionnaires were collected and 2 730 were included in the study. In 2020, 89.3 percent of Tianjin residents were satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations. Compared with residents aged 15-24, residents in other age groups were less satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations. Compared with residents with primary school education or below, residents with high school education or bachelor's degree or the same educational level were less satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations. Residents with chronic diseases (OR=1.885 , P<0.01) and exposure to second-hand smoke in the last 30 days (OR=1.903, P<0.01) were less satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations, while those who supported the Regulations (OR=0.511, P<0.01) and residents who had been exposed to public service advertisements on tobacco control in the last 30 days (OR=0.043, P<0.01) were more satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations. Conclusion The residents of Tianjin are highly satisfied with the enforcement of the Regulations. Age, education background, support for the Regulations, chronic disease, exposure to secondhand smoke in the last 30 days and exposure to public service advertisements in the last 30 days are the main influencing factors of satisfaction with the enforcement of tobacco control regulations.

Résumé

Objective The up-regulated expression of miR-182 is associated with poor prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer. This study explored the biological function of the miR-182/MTSS1 signaling pathway in three-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and the mechanism of its regulation. Methods The relative quantitative expressions of miR-182 and MTSS1 were detected in the cancerous and adjacent tissues of 30 cases of TNBC, the influence of miR-182 and MTSS1 on the proliferation and invasiveness of the cells evaluated by cell function tests, the potential binding sites of miR-182 to MTSS1 predicted with the Targetscan software, and MTSS1 confirmed to be the target gene by the dual luciferase reporter system. After transfection of miR-182 into the MCF-7 cells, RT-PCR and Western blot were used to determine the gene and protein expressions of MTSS1 and verify the regulatory effect of miR-182 targeting MTSS1. Results The expression of miR-182 was significantly higher (t=-8.409, P=0.000), while that of MTSS1 lower in the cancerous than in the adjacent tissue (t=2.961, P=0.006). The over expression of miR-182 and silenced expression of MTSS1 markedly enhanced the proliferation and migration of the MCF-7 cells compared with those of the control (P<0.01), while inhibition of miR-182 and over expression of MTSS1 remarkably suppressed their proliferation and migration of the MDA-MB-231 cells (P<0.01). The base sequences of 1083-1089 of the MTSS1 gene were confirmed to be the target binding sites of miR-182. After transfection of miR-182, the expression of MTSS1 in the MCF-7 cells was significantly down-regulated as compared with that in the control (t=-5.918, P= 0.027). Conclusion Target binding of miR-182 to MTSS1 down-regulates the expression of MTSS1 and promotes cell proliferation and migration, which may play an important biological role in the metastasis of TNBC.

Résumé

Objective: To evaluate the short-term effect of modified temporomandibular joint disc anchor for irreversible disc displacement of temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Methods: A modified temporomandibular joint disc anchor surgery was performed for 24 patients with stage Ⅲ-Ⅴ TMJ internal derangement (ID) of 30 TMJs. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were used to evaluate ID before and 1 week after operation for all patients. Results: All incisions healed well and there was no severe complication. The postoperative MRI images showed that, the operation outcome of 26 joints (21 cases) was classified as excellent and 3 joints (2 cases) was good. Maximal interincial opening increased from(23. 63 ± 3. 31) mm before operation to (32. 17 ± 2. 30) mm 7 days after operation(P< 0. 05). Conclusion: Modified temporomandibular joint disc anchor surgery may produce good short-term effects for the treatment of TMJ ID.

Résumé

Objective To observe the effect of health education and installation of improved stove in control of coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis in Pingba County of Guizhou Province. Methods Two towns(Shizi and Qibo) of Pingba County that had implemented the health education and installed the improved stoves for control of coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis were selected as the investigation sites. Two villages in each selected town and 30 householders as well as all students of grade 4-6 were investigated.Questionnaires were made by survey of the fluorosis control knowledge, household investigations were used to know the use of household stoves, corn and peppers drying method, and the dental fluorosis of children aged 8-12 were examined by Dean methods before the intervention(2006) and after implementation(2009) of health education and improvement of stoves. Results The awareness of fluorosis control among students and households after the intervention was 97.36% (405/416) and 86.46%(415/480),respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(x2 =658.86,163.10,all P < 0.01) compared with that before the intervention [32.19%(1083/3364),43.33%(130/300)].Correct using rate of the household stoves was 95.42% (229/240) after the intervention and 45.85% (3976/8672) before the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(x2 =230.25,P < 0.01).The correct rates of drying corn and chili were 91.67% (110/120) and 97.50% (117/120) before the intervention, and 20.00% (12/60),26.67% (16/60) after the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(x2 =94.07,104.02,all P < 0.01).The incidences of dental fluorosis of children aged 8-12 were 31.21%(1305/4182) after the intervention and 87.71%(2856/3256) before the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(x2 =2371.91,P < 0.01).Conclusions The measures of health education and intervention of stove improvement in Pingba County of Guizhou Province for prevention and control of coal-burning-borne endemic fluorosis is effective.

Résumé

The protein encoded by CC chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7) is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. This receptor was identified as a gene induced by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and is thought to be a mediator of EBV effects on B lymphocytes. This receptor is expressed in various lymphoid tissues and activates B and T lymphocytes. It has been shown to control the migration of memory T cells to inflamed tissues, as well as stimulate dendritic cell maturation. To map the CCR7 gene in chicken chromosome, a 6 000 rads chicken-hamster radiation hybrid panel (ChickRH6) was used. PCR of samples from ChickRH6 revealed that the location of CCR7 gene is linked to the maker SEQ0347 (6 cR away) with LOD score of 16.6 and that the marker SEQ0347 is located on chromosome 27 at 27 cR of RH (radiation hydrid) map. We compared the corresponding human mRNA sequence with the predicted coding sequence of chicken CCR7 gene, and found that the assembled contig shared a high percentage of similarity with that of the human gene.
