Objective:To investigate the pelvic floor muscle functioning of persons with pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) at different ages in order to provide a reference for clinical treatment.Methods:A total of 580 PFD patients were divided into group A ( n=163, ≤29 years old), Group B ( n=161, 30-39), Group C ( n=114, 40-49), Group D ( n=128, 50-59) and Group E ( n=14, ≥60 years old). All were given a surface electromyography (sEMG) examination of their pelvic floor muscles. Average sEMG amplitude and its variability were recorded in the pre-resting and post-resting stages. The maximum sEMG amplitude and its rise time and recovery time during rapid contraction of pelvic floor muscles were recorded. Average sEMG amplitude and variability were also recorded during slow muscle contraction. The observations were correlated with the age. Results:Significant differences among the 5 groups were found in all of the measurements. Spearman correlation analysis showed that age was positively correlated with the variation in the sEMG amplitudes in the pre-resting stage, with the rise time and with the recovery time. Age also correlated with the maximum sEMG amplitude in the rapid stage, the variation of the EMG amplitude in the slow-muscle stage, and the EMG amplitude in the post-resting stage. But it was negatively correlated with the average sEMG amplitude during pelvic floor contraction.Conclusions:The stability and coordination of the pelvic floor muscles gradually deteriorates with age. The rate of activation and recovery become slower, with prolonged recruitment, slower response and poor excitability.

Objective:To explore the change characteristics of event-related potential P300 in different violence risk levels of schizophrenic patients and analyze the risk factors of violence in schizophrenic patients.Methods:Totally 158 schizophrenic patients in Lyuzhou hospital of Shihezi City from January 2019 to August 2020 were collected and assessed with the violence risk scale for 3 days.According to the assessment results, the patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into low-risk group( n=78), medium-risk group( n=51) and high-risk group( n=29). The auditory P300 of patients in each group was completed within 3 days and act of violence was observed and recorded within one week.Data analysis was carried out by SPSS 20.0 software.The changes of P300 in different violence risk groups were analyzed by ANOVA, and the influencing factors of violence in patients with schizophrenia were analyzed by logistic regression. Results:There was no significant difference in latency of P300 among the three groups (χ 2=4.71, P=0.10), but there was significant difference in amplitude of P300( F=6.67, P<0.01). Compared with the low-risk group ((12.14±9.19) μV), the amplitude of P300 in medium-risk group ((8.25±7.13) μV) and high risk group ((6.71±4.97) μV) decreased significantly ( t=-3.14, -5.45, both P<0.05). There was no significant difference in amplitude of P300 between the high-risk group and the middle-risk group( t=-2.31, P>0.05). The latency and amplitude of schizophrenia patients with violent behavior were significantly different from those without violent behavior ( Z=-6.30, 9.78, both P<0.01). High BVC grade (compared with high-risk group, low-risk group: OR=0.03, 95% CI : 0.00-0.35; the middle risk group: OR=0.09, 95% CI : 0.01-0.62), prolonged P300 latency ( OR=1.30, 95% CI : 1.13-1.48) and decreased P300 amplitude ( OR=0.50, 95% CI: 0.36-0.70), delusion of victimization ( OR=0.12, 95% CI: 0.02-0.76)were the risk factors for violent behavior. Conclusion:The latency and amplitude of P300 can be used as the reliable neuroelectrophysiological indicators for evaluating violence risk in patients with schizophrenia.It has important clinical application value for evaluating violence in patients with schizophrenia.

Objective To investigate the effect of agomelatine on memory impairment and expres-sion of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 5 (ERK5) in post-traumatic stress disorder ( PTSD)-like rats. Methods Forty-eight SD rats were divided into control group (SHAM group),post-traumatic stress disorder group (PTSD group),agomelatine group (AGO group) and placebo control group(PC group) according to random number table with 12 in each group. The PTSD-like model was established by internationally recog-nized single prolonged stress (SPS) stimulation,and the AGO group and PC group were given the same a-mount of agomelatine and saline respectively by intragastric administration within 8 hours after modeling for 14 days. The arousal emotional level and learning and memory ability of rats were observed by open field ex-periment and Morris water maze test. Then the expressions of ERK5 and ERK5 mRNA in hippocampus of rats were detected by Western blot and qRT-PCR. Results (1) The results of the open field experiment showed that compared with the SHAM group (38. 58±5. 76),the numbers of crossing the grids of the PTSD group (29. 75±3. 75) decreased (P<0. 01). Compared with the PC group (28. 58±2. 91),the number of crossing the grids of the AGO group (41. 00±4. 49) increased (P<0. 01). (2) In Morris water maze test, positioning navigation experiment showed that compared with the SHAM group, the escape latency of the PTSD group and the PC group increased (P<0. 01),while the escape latency of AGO group was shorter than that of the PC group (P<0. 01). And in the space exploration experiment,compared with the SHAM group (2. 12±0. 51),the times of crossing the platform in PTSD group (1. 03±0. 43) and the PC group (1. 23± 0. 59) decreased (P<0. 01),while the times of crossing the platform in AGO group (2. 75±0. 72) increased compared with PC group (P<0. 01). Compared with SHAM group (12. 14±2. 53),the latency of crossing the platform of PTSD group (27. 33±6. 54) increased (P<0. 01),and the agomelatine group (14. 36±4. 27) de-creased compared with the PC group (29. 67±9. 72) (P<0. 01). (3) Results of Western blot and qRT-PCR showed compared with the SHAM group,the levels of ERK5 and ERK5 mRNA in rat hippocampus were up-regulated in the PTSD group (P<0. 01),and the expression of ERK5 and ERK5 mRNA was higher than that of PC group (P<0. 01). Conclusion Agomelatine can effectively improve the learning and memory ability of PTSD-like rats,which may be related to the up-regulation of ERK5 protein expression in hippocampal tis-sues.

Objective To investigate the effect of oxytocin on the expression of MKP-1 level in the hippocampus of post-traumatic stress disorder rats.Methods Eighteen SD rats were randomly divided into the control group,administration group and the experimental group with 6 rats in each group.The administration group and the experimental group were treated with internationally recognized single prolongation stress (SPS) method to stimulate the rats in order to establish PTSD models.The 14-day oxytocin intervention was given to rats of the administration group after the SPS stimulation within 8 hours.And the behavioral changes of rats were observed by open-field test and Morris water maze test.The changes of MKP-1 mRNA in the hippocampus of rats were detected by real-time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR),and the levels of MKP-1 Protein in the hippocampus of rats were detected by Western Blot.Results (1) Compared with the model group (2.50± 1.05 and 22.16±7.14),the times of the standing and crossing grid section quantities in the open-field test in the administration group(5.16± 1.17and 32.83±5.71) and control group (6.67±2.16 and 39.83± 4.62) significantly decreased (P<0.05).Morris water maze showed that the incubation of the model group was markedly prolonged (P<0.05) compared with that of the administration group,while in spatial probe test,the incubation period of the rats in administration group was prolonged,and the number of wearing stage decreased (P<0.05).(2) Compared with the administration group (1.30±0.03),the expression of MKP-1 mRNA in hippocampus of rats in model group (4.04±0.46) was notably up-regulated (P<0.05).And the protein level of MKP-1 in model group(1.95±0.68) was also increased compared with that in administration group (1.46±0.27) (P<0.05).Conclusions Oxytocin can protect the learning and memory ability and reduce the stress-related performance of rats via regulating the expression of MKP-1.

Objective To investigate the effects of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) versus cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for treating adult posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) .Methods A total of 81 patients with PTSD con‐forming to the including standard were randomly allocated to the EMDR group ,CBT group ,and control group ,27 cases per group . The PTSD symptoms ,anxiety and depression moods in 3 groups were assessed before and after treatment by adopting the Clinician‐administered PTSD Scale (CAPS) ,Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) .Results The drop‐out rates were 29 .63% for the EMDR group ,7 .41% for the CBT group and 7 .41% for the control group respectively ;the re‐experience symptoms score of CAPS in the EMDR group was lower than that in the CBT group with statistical difference (P=0 . 036) .Conclusion Both EMDR and CBT are the effective psychological therapeutic method ,EMDR has more effective than CBT in the reproving the re‐experience symptoms of PTSD .The future studies should pay more attention to the application of stabilization technologies for reducing the dropout rate of EMDR .

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of biofeedback for anxiety patients by carrying out a Meta-analysis.Methods We searched CNKI,VIP,CBM(1989 to 2013) to identify relevant randomized-control trials applying biofeedback for anxiety patients.We used Review Management (RevMan) 5.0 software (provided by the Cochrane collaboration) to conduct Meta-analysis.Results We included 11 studies.Meta-analysis for the biofeedback group vs.the control group showed that biofeedback was significantly superior to control (SMD=-3.00,95%CI:-4.40~-1.61); Meta-analysis for the biofeedback plus drug group vs.drug group showed that biofeedback plus drug was significantly superior to drug (SMD=-1.33,95%CI:-1.82~-0.85).Conclusions We found evidence that biofeedback (applying alone or combined with drugs) is effective in improving anxiety symptom.But all the studies had methodological limitations,our conclusion needs further studies with strict design,high quality and consistent assessment tools to be expounded and proven.

Objective To evaluate the role of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1) in spinal cord in a rat model of neuropathic pain.Methods One hundred and eighty male Wistar rats weighing 180-220 g were randomly divided into 4 groups( n =45 each): sham operation group(group S),neuropathic pain group (group NP),siRNA negative control group (group NS) and PARP1-siRNA group (group PS).Neuropathic pain was produced by L5 spinal nerve ligation (SNL).Viral of PARP1-siRNA or viral of siRNA negative control was injected intrathecally after SNL in groups PS or NS.Mechanical pain threshold was determined at 3,7 and 14 d after SNL.Then the rats were sacrificed and L5 lumbar spinal tissues were removed for determination of coexpression of PARP1 with glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) (by immunohistochemistry double stain),protein expression of PARP1 and GFAP (by Western blot),and mRNA expression of PARP1 and GFAP (by RT-PCR).Results Compared with group S,mechanical pain threshold was significantly decreased and the protein and mRNA expression of GFAP and PARP1 up-regulated in groups NP,NS and PS( P < 0.05).Compared with groups NP and NS,mechanical pain threshold was significantly increased and the protein and mRNA expression of GFAP and PARP1 down-regulated in group PS (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in above indexes between groups NP and NS(P >0.05 ).PARR1 was expressed in the astrocytes in the spinal cord.Conclusion PARP1 is involved in the formation and maintainance of neuropathic pain in rats via activating astrocytes.

Résumé

Objective To explore the related factors of local reccurrence to rectal cancer after Dixon operation. Methods 100 patients with rectal cancer were used Dixon treatment. Then the tumor cells in the intestine and peritoneal fluid were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by flow cytometry during operation. The patients were followed up 2 years to understand the local recurrence. Results In 100 patients,8 cases were found in local recurrence after 2 years. 6 cases of recurrence were in the anastomotic site. Conclusion The local recurrence was related to Dukes stage,tumor distance from the anus,much margin of tumor length,tumor differentiation,intestine and abdominal shed close tumor cells,and it was worthy of attention.

Objective To explore a simple and safe method for preservation of the sputum aspirator nozzle. Methods Using self-controlled method, the traditional method was to place the nozzle in the glass bottle of disinfectant liquid, the modified method was to fix a sputum tube to a suitable location of the sputum aspirator or bedside with the joint free, after sputum aspiration,the nozzle was connected to the joint. One patient used the same sputum aspirator. The two methods of preservation were alternated every 24 hours. The slippage times of the nozzle were compared, and samples from glass nozzle and joints of disinfectant liquid bottles/spu-tuna tube joints were underwent bacterial culture. Results Significant difference existed in slippage times of the nozzle, the positive rate of bacteria colony in the.glass nozzle and disinfectant liquid bottles/sputum tube joints between the two methods. Conclusions Using sputum aspiration tubes to fix the nozzle of aputum aspi-rator is better than the traditional method of putting the nozzle into the glass bottle of disinfectant liquid,this method proves to be easy, safe,portable and economical and is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To explore impact of nursing intervention on the adverse reaction of patient con-trol epidural analgesia (PCEA) after abdominal operation. Methods 258 patients underwent PCEA after ab-dominal operation were selected from 2006 to 2007. The clinical data of 126 patients without nursing interven-tion were analyzed as the control group admitted to our hospital from January to December, 2006 and compared with those of 132 patients receiving nursing intervention as the experimental group from January to December, 2007. The control group was managed by the anesthetists and nurses only conducted routine nursing instruction, while the experimental group was given systematic and normative nursing intervention besides routine nursing instructions, including psychological intervention, behavioral intervention, close observation, of discovery of ad-verse reaction in time and giving early disposal. The incidence of adverse reaction of PCEA of the two groups such as urinary retention, nausea and vomiting, abdominal distension, skin indentation, catheter shedding, skin itching, numbness of lower limbs, respiratory depression was observed. Results Compared with the control group,the incidence of adverse reactions of PCEA in the experimental group such as urinary retention,nansea and vomiting, abdominal distension,skin indentation,catheter shedding was significantly lower. Conclusions The implementation of nursing intervention can reduce the adverse reaction of PCEA after abdominal operation, alle-viate the suffering of patients, and promote functional recovery and the body rehabilitation.

Purpose To study the effects of trihexyphenidyl (THP) on levels of monoamine neurotransmitters in the cerebral cortex after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods SAH model of rats were used,the levels of norepinephrine (NE),dopamine(DA),5-hydroxytrypatamine (5?HT) and hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5?HIAA) were measured by flurospectrophotometry. Results There was an extensive increase in levels of NE (P<0.01),5?HT (P<0.01) and 5?HIAA (P<0.01) in the cerebral cortex after SAH,DA had a tendency to increase without significance.The increase in levels of NE (P<0.01),5?HT (P<0.01) and 5?HIAA (P<0.05) in the cerebral cortex after SAH could be effectively inhibited by THP. Conclusions There will be a remarkable increase in levels of NE,5HT and 5HIAA in the cerebral cortex after SAH,THP could significantly ameliorate the metabolic disorder of NE and 5HT after SAH

AIM To study the effects of matrine (Ma) on the action potential and contractile force in guinea pig papillary muscles. METHODS Conventional microelectrode technique was used to record the fast action potentials (FAP) and slow action potentials (SAP) induced by histamine and BaCl_2 of guinea pig papillary muscles. RESULTS Ma 10,25,50 ?mol?L -1 dose-dependently prolonged the action potential duration at 50%, 90% repolarization (APD_ 50 , APD_ 90 ) and effective refractory period (ERP) of FAP, and lengthened the APD_ 50 , APD_ 90 of SAP induced by histamine and BaCl_2 when perfused with KCl 25 mmol?L -1 Tyrode's solution. The maximal upstroke velocity (V_ max ) of FAP, SAP and contractile force (Fc) were not affected by matrine 10,25,50 ?mol?L -1 . CONCLUSION It was suggested that Matrine could block K + channels in the myocardium.-
