Combined duplex ultrasound assessment of peak systolic velocity and waveform acceleration in the penile flaccid state in patients with erectile dysfunction

Duplex ultrasonography in conjunction with intracorporeal injection of vasoactive agent such as papaverine and prostaglandine El is a widely spread method in diagnosis of various type of impotence. However, many searshes accused it as invasive and time consuming method of diagnosis. In addition, it is not the accurate method to diagnose the extent of affection of the penile vascularity in arteriogenic impotence.
