Fatal ascaris pancreatitis

Gastrointestinal parasites are an uncommon cause of biliary and pancreatic obstruction in the Arabian Gulf; it could have serious complications and even mortality. A Bengali male thirty-two year old patient recently arrived in Bahrain for presented with all the features of acute pancreatitis, no evidence of gallstones or alcohol abuse.
