Résumé

From January, 1981 to May, l988, 46 patients underwent renal transplant ureteroneocystostomy by a transvesical technique in 12 and extravesical ureteroneocystostomy in 34. There were 2 complications of urine leakage related to the transvesical ureteroneocystostomy, while no instance of complication relates to the extravesical ureteroneocystostomy. Urine leakages were repaired by reoperation of the extravesical ureteroneocystostomy. Renal transplant extravesical ureteroneocystostomy is simple, fast and effective method to reestablish urinary tract continuity and provides minimal complication.

Résumé

The etiology of renal cell carcinoma has not been clarified and the familial renal cell carcinoma accompanied with karyotypic abnormalities is very rarely reported in the world literatures. Recently the approaches to evaluate the etiology of renal cell carcinoma are now being tried but it's relationship with the chromosomal abnormalities has not yet been clearly identified. We report two cases of renal cell carcinoma occurred in sister and brother who were treated with radical nephrectomy. And also we studied the pedigree of the family and the karyotype of peripheral leukocytes from four siblings which shows normal chromosomal patterns

Résumé

A percutaneous nephrostomy tract was used as a conduit to the kidney and upper ureter for extraction of calculi. We have performed percutaneous extraction of renal and upper ureter stones in 52 cases with the use of the percutaneous equipment and ultrasonic lithotrite. Overall success rate was 86.5% and average operating time was 90 minutes and mean hospitalization was 6.9 days. The advantage of this technique are that a skin incision of only 1 cm. is required to remove the stone, hospital days are fewer than with open procedures and postoperative morbidity is minimal. We conclude that percutaneous nephrolithotomy can be the primary choice of treatment in upper urinary tract stones.

Résumé

A renal arteriovenous fistula and arterial aneurysm are congenital or acquired in origin. Treatment has consisted of partial or total nephrectomy and ligation of branch artery traditionally. Recently the development of transcatheter arterial embolization technique has afforded a new therapeutic alternative Selective embolization using a embolic agent was found useful in management of arteriovenous fistula and aneurysm. With brief review of literatures, we report 5 cases treated successfully by selective transcatheter embolization.

Résumé

Dynamic computed tomography was performed in 3 patients thought to have renal trauma. Computed tomography, particularly if complemented by dynamic recording has proved to be most sensitive procedure and to offer most comprehensive diagnostic assessment for the majority of renal injuries. Ability of this dynamic computed tomography to guide assessment of viability of injured renal parenchyma is of great importance when determing the need for surgical intervention. The information provided by the dynamic computed tomogram rivals and duplicated that generated by arteriogram, but the advantage of dynamic computed tomography is less invasive procedure.
