Résumé

AIM: To examine the effects of three commonly used general anesthetics on the proliferation and activation of glial cells in neonatal rats. METHODS: Neonatal rats were exposed to either isoflurane, sevoflurane or desflurane for 2 h on postnatal day 2 (P2). The animals were euthanatihed and the brain were harvested on P7 and P14, respectively. The immunohistochemical localihation of glial markers (vimentin, GFAP, Iba1) were examined. RESULTS: Activation of astrocyte in granular layer and molecular layer of dentate gyrus of hippocampus was significantly enhanced on P7 and P14 after desflurane exposure, while that in isoflurane group the change was only significantly different on P14. The activation of microglia in the granular layer of dentate gyrus but not in the pyramidal cell layer of CA1 region was significantly enhanced in the desflurane group on P7 and P14, while the isoflurane group only showed significant difference on P14. CONCLUSION: Short time exposure of different inhalation anesthetics has different effects on the activation of glial cells in different subregions of hippocampus in neonatal rats on postnatal day 2, and sevoflurane may have the least effect on it.

Résumé

Objective To understand the effects of salt iodine content adjustment on iodine nutritional status of residents in Fujian Province. Methods In 2009 (before the adjustment) and 2014 (after the adjustment),cross-sectional research methods and stratified cluster sampling methods were adopted,17 and 19 survey sites (residential committees and villages) were selected, respectively. At each survey site,20 adults,30 pregnant women,30 lactating women and 50 children (8-10 years old) were selected in 2009;50 adults,50 pregnant women,50 lactating women and 100 children (8-10 years old) were selected in 2014.Random urine samples in one day were collected, and the urinary iodine content was measured by "the Arsenic and Cerium Catalyzed Spectrophotometric Method" (WS/T 107-2006).The results of before and after the adjustment were compared and iodine nutrition was evaluated. Results Before and after adjustment of salt iodine content, the urinary iodine median of children and adults was 208.7,202.8,163.0 and 157.6 μg/L,respectively,and after the adjustment, the iodine nutrition was at the appropriate level (100-199 μg/L).The urinary iodine median of lactating women was 128.9 and 107.4 μg/L before and after the adjustment, iodine nutrition was at an appropriate level (≥ 100 μg/L).The urinary iodine median of pregnant women was 149.2 and 124.0 μg/L before and after the adjustment, which were deficient (< 150 μg/L).Conclusion After down-regulating the iodized salt content, the iodine nutrition of the general residents in Fujian Province is basically at an appropriate level, and pregnant women have different levels of iodine deficiency.

Résumé

Objective To observe the changes of postoperative blood high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-o, P-selectin levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) who had an atorvastatin intensive treatment before operation, and investigate its clinical significance. Methods Seventy-eight cases of ACS patients who intended to undergo percutaneous coronary intervention were divided into two groups by random digits table:39 patients comprising the standard treatment group (given atorvaatatin 20 mg/d, conventional treatment), 39 patients comprising the enhanced group (given atorvastatin 40 mg, 20 mg separately at preoperative 12 h, 2 h on the basis of conventional treatment).Among them, 28 cases of the standard treatment group and 29 cases of the enhanced group finally underwent the test. The hs-CRP,TNF-α ,P-selectin levels at preoperative 1 day, postoperative 6 h,postoperative 12 h were detected and then the changes of three factors were analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in hs-CRP,TNF- α, P-selectin between the two groups at preoperative 1 day. The values of the two groups markedly increased at postoperative 6 h, 12 h and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The values of the standard treatment group were markedly higher at postoperative 12 h than those at postoperative 6 h,and the difference was statistically significant [hs-CRP: (10.29 ± 0.77) mg/L vs. (6.34 ±1.23) mg/L;TNF-α: (58.15±5.19) ng/L vs. (36.12 ± 3.89) ng/L;P-selectin: (49.58 ±4.92) μg/L vs.(31.47 ± 3.71) μ g/L] (P < 0.05). However, the values of the enhanced group were higher at postoperative 12 h than those at postoperative 6 h but the difference was no statistically significant [hs-CRP: (6.83 ± 1.46)mg/L vs. (5.95 ± 1.17) mg/L; TNF- o: (42.18 ± 7.79) ng/L vs. (34.07 ± 8.79) ng/L; P-selectin: (33.57 ±4.63) μ g/L vs. (29.78 ± 5.61) μ g/L] (P > 0.05). Three factors in standard treatment group were elevating significantly at postoperative 6 h, 12 h compared with those in the enhanced group, but the difference was no statistically significant (P > 0.05). Conclusion Short-term intensive therapy of atorvastatin in ACS patients who intend to do PCI, can reduce the hs-CRP, TNF-α, P-selectin levels effectively.
