RÉSUMÉ
Two cases of primary hyperparathyroidism (with associated nephrolithiasis) demostrated by simultaneous hypercalcemia and elevated parathyroid hormone serum level, were preoperatively studied with high resolution CT scan. Single adenomas were located in each case by this technique; both of them were successfully operated on. High resolution CT scan improves sharpness and overall image quality as well as frequency of positive findings which allows surgeron to plan unilateral neck exploration.
