Résumé

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the chemical changes of salvianolic acid B and lithospermic acid of Salvia miltiorrhiza under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure and explore the reaction mechanism.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>S. miltiorrhiza extracts, salvianolic acid B and lithospermic acid were put in the reactor under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure (120 degrees C, 0.2 MPa), and the chemical changes and stability was studied.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Salvianolic acid A was the primary product in salvianolic acid B and lithospermic acid's conversion process, and lithospermic acid was an intermediate in the conversion process of salvianolic acid B. Compared with salvianolic acid B, lithospermic acid could convert into more salvianolic acid A and fewer other products in the same conditions. Salvianolic acid A was not stable under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure, and could sequentially convert into other small molecules.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Referring to the chemical conversion of salvianolic acid B and lithospermic acid, a method of large-scale preparation of salvianolic acid A can be developed.</p>

Résumé

Objective To study the outcome of distal third clavicular fracture treated with AO clavicular hook plate. Methods From May 2001 to May 2003, 14 cases of fresh distal third clavicular fracture (Neer typeⅡ) were treated with AO clavicular hook plate in our hospital. Results All the cases obtained satisfactory results. No infection, nonunion, ineffective internal fixation, or loosening or breakage of the plate occurred. Conclusion The treatment of distal third clavicular fracture with AO clavicular hook plate is an effective surgical method.

Objective To study the antagonism of water-soluble compounds of salvia-salvianolic acid A(SalA),salvianolic acid B(SalB) and catechu aldehyde(CA) to Cr(Ⅵ) induced genetic toxicity in Vicia faba root tip cells.Methods The root tip of Vicia faba were treated with SalA,SalB,CA(5-1000 ?g/ml) and every compound combined with 100 ?g/ml Cr(Ⅵ) respectively,and with distilled water as control group.The micronucleus rate(MNR),the mitotic index(MI) and the chromosome aberration rate(CAR) of Vicia faba root tip cells were observed by micronucleus assay and chromosome aberration assay.Results Compared with control group,treatments of 50,100 ?g/ml SalA,50 ?g/ml SalB,100,500 ?g/ml CA significantly increased MI(P
