Résumé
Clinical trials of drugs: about analysis of African reports. Clinical trials are currently well codified: some constraints are absolutly necessary to obtain a reliable information. A trial must be randomized, comparative, and should analyse statistically results. We studied all papers concerning clinical trials, published during five years in different African journals, in order to see if they follow these obligations. Only one paper on 48 studied contained the main cited criteria and eight trials were comparative. To improve the quality of clinical trials and their credibility, it seems necessary, before starting such studies to be well informed about clinical trials codification or, at least, take advice with experienced persons in this field
