Pseudotumores cerebrais por paracoccidioidomicose / Pseudocerebral tumor due to Paracoccidioidomycosis

A patient presenting with multiple cerebral lesions surroundedby edema is presented; after a neurosurgical biopsy, Paracoccidioidomycosiswas diagnosed The chronic evolution and theconsiderable time for the presentation of symptoms is stressed,eventhough all current therapeutic assessment was used. Therewas no satisfactory answer for the treatment to the CNS mycotic compromise, suggesting that surgical removal or biopsy of cerebralmycotic granulomatous lesions should be done.
