RÉSUMÉ

Primary gastric Glomus tumour is rare and much less frequent than gastrointestinal stromal tumors[GIST].at least 150 of them have been reported in articles, but no one had been published in Iran. Patient was a 59 years old man with the chief complains of sense of epigastric fullness after meal. Endosonography showed a hypoechoic mass in muscularis mucosa with 29_14 mm dimentions. patient underwent wedge resection of gastric tumour. In microscopy, sheets and nodules of round to polyhedral uniform cells with bland round to oval nuclei in the background of branched hemangiopericytoma-like vascular stroma with hyalinised wall were seen. Smooth Muscle Actin, desmin, chromogranin and CD117 were determined immunohistochemicaly, the first marker was positive and the reminders were negative. Primary gastric Glomus tumour is essentially a benign neoplasm, in order to prevent unnecessary radical surgery, its differentiation from others malignant lesions is mandatory

RÉSUMÉ

Anthracosis of the lung is black discoloration of bronchial mucosa that may distort and occlude the bronchial lumen and cause significant clinical findings named "Anthracofibrosis". In this article a rare presentation of this disease and related complications were reported. A 73 year-old woman with a 10-year history of chronic cough, dyspnea, weight loss and wheezing was referred to us for exacerbation of her symptoms in winter. She was a known case of anthracosis. Her previous bronchoscopy and sampling were inconclusive. Her recent computed tomography [CT] scan showed bilateral parenchymal infiltration, multiple lymph node calcifications and an intra-luminal calcified material in the left main bronchus. Bronchoscopy showed a floating foreign body in the left main bronchus and infiltration of the right and left main bronchi. Bronchial lavage showed plenty of acid fast bacilli and biopsy showed granulomatous reaction in favor of tuberculosis. In conclusion, we believe that broncholithiasis should be considered as a chronic complication of anthracosis

RÉSUMÉ

Papillary microcarcinoma of thyroid [PMC] as a variant of papillary carcinoma less than 1 cm in size is a new clinicopathological entity, with high incidence and good prognosis. There are many differences between PMC and clinically apparent papillary thyroid carcinoma. Also, there are some PMC case reports with unusual metastasis and aggressive courses. Prognostic factors are age, size and morphology of tumor, multifocality, cervical lymphadenopathy, etc. Here we report a case of unifocal PMC less than 0.4 mm in size in one lobe of thyroid in an elderly man which was discovered by thorough cutting of thyroid gland after detecting its large and cystic cervical metastasis

Harlequin ichthyosis is one of the most severe congenital skin cornification disorders with an incidence rate of about 1 in 300,000 births and characteristic clinical features. We report two cases of harlequin ichthyosis [HI] or harlequin fetus [HF], which were products of consanguineous union. Clinical examination showed typical features of harlequin ichthyosis, with the presence of plaques with diamond-like configuration, external ear anomaly, severe ectropion and eclabium, and rigid semi flexion of limbs
