Résumé
This study was done to evaluate the antihemophilic globulin [Sclavo] for the management of hemophilic patient looking for dental extraction. Sclavo was given by intravenous route in three doses, 12 hours pre- and postoperatively and one immediate preextraction. The extraction was done under general anesthesia and local hemostatic measures were done in the socket by surgical, suturing and fixation of prefabricated acrylic splint. No hemorrhage problem appeared during or after extraction with a satisfactory level of hemostasis. It was concluded that Sclavo is a very effective antihemophilic agent to avoid hemorrhage in dental extraction for hemophilic A patient in conjunction with local hemostatic measures and it is free from any viral infection of hepatitis B or AIDS
