Avaliação do sucesso dos implantes segundo as técnicas de carga imediata e convencional na região de maxila. Foram avaliados 68 pacientes, com um total de 344 implantes. A técnica cirúrgico-protética foi avaliada e foram descritas cinco (3,5%) perdas para a técnica de carga imediata num total de 143 implantes e três (1,55%) para a técnica convencional num total de 193 implantes (p=O,260). O sucesso da carga imediata é semelhante estatisticamente ao da carga convencional.
Evaluation ofimplant success according to immediate and conventionalloading techniques in maxilla. Sixty-eight patients were evaluated, carrying out 344 implants altogether. The surgical-prosthetic technique was evaluated and had been described five losses for the immediate load technique in a total of 143 implantations and three for the conventional technique in a total of 193 implantations (p=O.260). The immediate loading success is statistically similar to the conventionalloading according to what was showed through the low number of losses.
