Insect sex pheromones: Research advances / 国际药学研究杂志

Medical insects are an important part of traditional Chinese medicine, their biomedical research and development of insects are gaining attention. The research and application of insect sex pheromone in this area also draws great attention. Currently, insect sex pheromone is mainly used for pest control in agroforestry. The review briefly describes the chemical constituents, release, and application of insect sex pheromones; meanwhile, the application of insect sex pheromone and its uses in mass trapping, mating disruption, and pest control, in the insect resources development are preliminarily discussed.
