Objective:We undertook this trial to assess the status quo of quality of life(QOL) among patients of tota1 laryngectomy,hemilaryngectomy and nasopharyngeal carcinoma undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods:Head-neck carcinoma patients were divided into three groups according to the types of diseases. Using UW-QOL questionnaire and some special questions consistent with local conditions,a survey was conducted in 41 head-neck carcinoma patients more than 2 months after operation or radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
