Résumé

The authors report one case of uretero pelvic junction obstruction syndrome revealed at birth by respiratory distress in relationship with urinary ascite. The diagnosis was given by abdominal ultra-sonography and intravenous urography. The infant's condition didn't permit the surgical correction which was delayed to thirty months old. The decision strategy and the benefit of prenatal diagnosis are discussed

Résumé

In this work, we report 8 observations of pediatric AIDS, collected between 1987 and 1995 in the department of pediatric 1 in Infants Hospital Ibn Rochd in Casablanca. In Morocco, we count until April 12, 1995, 267 cases of HIV infection which 63 cases [23,6%] are women and 14 cas [5%] are children. In this study the mode of contamination is vertical, mother to child. The means old of childs [6M, 2F] is 22 months. The clinic profile is dominated by the diarrheic syndrome [7 cases] with staturoponderal regression [5 cases] and by a progressive encephalopathy with a psychomotor delay [3 cases]. Reccurent bacterial infections are frequent [4 cases] and opportunist infections are dominated by a digestive condidiasis [5 cases]. Through an immunologic study, we noticed a T4/T8 ratio inferior or equal to 1,2 in all the patients. The prognostic of the pediatric AIDS is more severe in the child, four children are dead. The prevention of the pediatric AIDS is based on contra-indication of pregnancy in infected women, early protection of the newborn and preventive treatement by Zidovudin during pregnancy

Résumé

The constipation in the child is a term that means numerous situations which have the same characteristic: the defecation disturbance. his caused either by a slowness of the intestinal transit time which is made abvious by the speed of progression of inert markers or by internal sphincteral relaxation during the distention of the rectal ampulla, even, a hypertonia of the external sphincter. These anomalies are documented by functional explorations, particulary, the anorectal manometry or the defecography. The anorectal manometry permits in various constipations in the disturbances, and this permits in various constipations in the child, to find aphysiopathologic explanation about the disturbances, and this permits to orientate the treatment. The constipation in the child is idiopathic the most often, and the objective of the treatment is to result at a correct transit, in order to ovoid the permanence of this disturbance and the passage to the chronicity or to the encopresis that still a socially invalidant affection

Résumé

Ultra-sound imaging finding of the invaginated bud are described in 111 young children referred with a suspected acute intestinal intussusception [A.I.I.] during a period of 32 months. An initial group of 30 children were examined by ultrasonography and a barium enema for diagnostic and possible therapeutic purposes. The second series of 81 children had a therapeutic enema only when ultra-sound images provided a positive diagnosis. The authors consider that the overall accuracy for ultrasonography in A.I.I. was 100%, and suggest an algorithm for pratical decisions in A.I.I. in children

Résumé

The therapeutic choice for a myeloplax tumors [stage I or II] remains difficult inspite of the suggested processes: curetage-filling up of the cavity or resection and reconstruction. These difficulties have made the authors use a new technique which is based on the filling up the cavity with the surgical cement. This procedure is illustrated by three cases treated with a follow-up of 4, 16 and 18 months respectively
