Résumé

A clinical observation was made on 52 cases of hypospadias which were treated at the department of Urology, Kyung Hee University Hospital during the period of January, 1972 through December, 1985 and the following results were obtained. 1. The patients` age were between 2 to 28 years. Only 22 patients(41.6%) were found in the age group under 6 years. 2. Of 52 cases of hypospadias, 27 cases(50.9%) were penoscrotal, 11 cases(22.7%) were penile, 6 cases(11.3%) were perineal, 4 case(7.5%) were scrotal, 3 cases were glandular and 1 case(1.9%) was chordee without hypospadias in type. 3. Cryptorchidism was the most common among the associated anomalies and it occupied 25% of all patients. 4. Of the 52 cases of hypospadias, one stage operation was done in 12 cases, two stage operation in 32 cases and their success rate was 58.5%, 40.6% in respectively. 5. The most common complication was fistula formation and it occurred in 20 cases(54.5%)of hypospadias repair.

Résumé

Choriocarcinoma developed in genital organ mainly. In male, choriocarcinoma developed rarely in testis but stremely rare in extragenital organ. Choriocarcinoma of the bladder was reported about 10 cases in the literature. Histogenesis of choriocarcinoma in bladder was trophoblastic differentiation from the totipotential germ cells. But Civantos et al. postulated that choriocarcinoma developed dedifferentiation from the undifferentiated carcinoma. Herein, we reported a case of choriocarcinoma with transitional cell carcinoma in the bladder.

Résumé

XO/XY mosaicism is frequently observed in the most patients with mixed gonadal dysgenesis. Mixed gonadal dysgenesis is a condition of Intersexuality characterized by asymmetric gonads or ambiguous genitalia or both. The external genitalia are always masculinized to some extent, on occasion represent a hypospadias as a common genetic form of a mixed gonadal dysgenesis. The disorder probably results from a cytogenic error that occurs early in embryogenesis. Phenotypic males with mixed gonadal dysgenesis have a high risk of developing gonadal tumors. We describe a case of hypospadias with a unilateral testis and XO/XY chromosome complement that is considered as a mixed gonadal dysgenesis.

Résumé

The urodynamic studies of patient with neurogenic bladder has been useful in diagnosis, classification and treatment. The urodynamic studies were performed in 72 patients with neurogenic bladder visited to the Department of Urology, Kyung Hee University, hospital during the period from January, 1983 to December, 1984. The results as follows: l. The age of patient at the time of the urodynamic study ranged from 4 to 80 years (mean 48.3 years), male was 57 cases and female was 16 cases. 2. In 72 cases, 32 cases were spine lesions, 24 cases were brain lesions, 10 cases were peripheral nerve lesions and 6 cases were others. 3. The uroflowmetry and the urethral pressure profilometry were not available for diagnosis and classification of neurogenic bladder. 4. In 24 cases of brain lesions, 15 cases were detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia, 9 cases were detrusor hyporeflexia and 1O cases were combined detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia. 5. In 32 cases of spine lesions, detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia in 20 cases, detrusor hyporeflexia in l2 cases and detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia in l9 cases. 6. In 1O cases of peripheral nerve lesions, 4 cases were detrusor hyperreflexia or normoreflexia, 6 cases were detrusor hyporeflexia and 5 cases were combined detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia.
