It is basically to identify the adverse effects related to drugs. Pharmacovigilance is an ongoing activity. This article is an attempt to prioritize the importance of pharmacovigilance, its important facets, challenges, and perspectives and a thought of a pharmacovigilance (dummy-example) system to establish a wider coverage through enhanced networking and thereby a more sound reporting of the adverse effects.
