Résumé

Objective To investigate the changes of soluble lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor-1 (sLOX-1) and omentin-1 in patients with H-type hypertension complicated with acute ischemic stroke, and to analyze the correlation of sLOX-1 and omentin-1 levels with the severity and prognosis of the disease. Methods Totally 136 patients with H-type hypertension complicated with acute ischemic stroke from February2017 to May 2018 were selected as observation group, and 136 non-acute ischemic stroke patients with H-type hypertension in the same period as the control group. The patients of observation group were divided into mild, moderate and severe sub-groups according to NIHSS score, and they were also divided into good prognosis group and poor prognosis group based on modified RANKIN scale (mRS) score. The serum sLOX-1 and omentin-1 levels were detected, and the correlation of sLOX-1 and omentin-1 levels with severity and prognosis of disease was analyzed. Results The serum sLOX-1 level of the observation group was higher, but the serum omentin-1 level lower than that of control group (P < 0.05). With the severity of the disease, the serum sLOX-1 level increased, but the serum omentin-1 level decreased (P < 0.05). The serum sLOX-1 level of good prognosis group was significantly lower, whereas the serum omentin-1 level significantly higher than that of poor prognosis group (P < 0.05). sLOX-1 was positively correlated with NIHSS score and mRS score, while omentin-1 was negatively correlated with NIHSS score and mRS score (P < 0.05). Conclusions The levels of serum sLOX-1 and omentin-1 are closely related to the severity and prognosis of patients with H-type hypertension complicated with acute ischemic stroke, which could be used as markers for evaluating the severity and prognosis of the patients.

Résumé

Objective To measure the diameter of cochlear nerve(CN) in normal hearing children with different ages, and evaluate the diameter variations with age. Methods A total of 156 normal-hearing children were assessed with 3D-FIESTA sequence scanning of the inner ear.All the subjects were divided into 13 groups according to age, witha group of ≤6 months,a group of ≤1 year, and 11 groups from one year to 12 years. Each group had 12 cases, including 6 boys and 6 girls. The diameter of CN was measured at the entrance of the cochlea, the middle of internal auditory canal(IAC) and the fundus of IAC respectively on the axial and oblique sagittal images of 3.0 T MRI by two independent observers. The average values measured by them were the final results. The intraclass correlation coefficient was used to determine the consistency between the two independent observers. The t test was used to access differencesin CN diameter by sex and sides.One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) and two-way ANOVA were used for comparisons among different groups.Spearman correlation coefficient was applied to find a correlation between the CN diameter and age. Results The diameters of normal-hearing children's CN at the middle of the IAC,IAC fundus and the entrance of the cochlea were (1.12 ± 0.08),(1.05 ± 0.06),(0.87 ± 0.14) mm respectively, and there was significant difference among the three measuring points (F=527.57,P<0.05).The diameters of the CN had no significant differenc (P>0.05) in age-groups,gender and sides(P>0.05),and there was no correlation between the diameters of normal children's CN and age. Conclusions The diameters of normal-hearing children's CN change with different points of the IAC,of which the maximum value is at the middle of the IAC,followed by the IAC fundus, and the entrance of the cochlea is at the minimum, more over the normal size doesn't change with age.

Résumé

Objective To investigate the expression of XIAP, Smac, HtrA2 and XAF1 in the hippocampus following SE in rats and to explore the pathophysiological mechanisms of expression of XIAP and its negative regulators after SE. Methods The lithium-pilocapine model of status epilepticus was established in SD rat. XIAP, Smac, HtrA2, XAF1 and activated caspase-3 protein were examined using immunohistochemistry. Western blot was used to detect the protein levels of XIAP, Smac, HtrA2 and activated easpase-3. Results XIAP immunoreactivity diffusely distributed within the neuron after SE. Compared with the control group, the expression of CA3 XIAP protein in the SE group was increased gradually since 2 hours (0.5503±0.0172 vs 0.1507±0.0165, t=115.87, P<0.01), peaking at 8 hours (0.6221±0.0238 vs 0.1507±0.0165, t=136.69, P<0.01). The expression of CA3 Smac, HtrA2, XAF1 and activated caspase-3 protein were increased generally following SE. Western blot analysis showed a significant increase in Stoat, HtrA2, activated caspase-3 protein levels from 2 to 72 hours following SE, but no significant differences were seen in XIAP protein levels between the control group and the SE group. Conclusions The XIAP, Smac, HtrA2 and XAF1 are involved in the regulation of neuronal apoptosis and implicated in pathophysiological mechanisms of neuronal damage after SE.
