Evaluation of serrum insulin-like growth factor-I [IGF-I] in type 1 diabetic adolescents

This research aimed to study the IGF-I levels in type 1 diabetic patients aged from 9 to 17 years and the relation of these levels to the control of diabetes and to other factors related to the disease. The study group consisted of 60 type 1 diabetic patients and the control group consisted of 25 healthy subjects matched for age, sex and socioeconomic classes.
