RÉSUMÉ

On the review of literature, various cases of osteomas orginated from paranasal sinuses can be found. But osteomas which are large enough to produce ocular symptoms are not very common. Even more, various ocular and intracranial sequelae may be complicated from surgical removal of huge frontal osteoma. We present a case of huge frontal osteoma which is originated from frontal sinus and removed successfully without any complications.

In a patient presenting with clinical features of obstructing hydrocephalus, stenosis of aqueduct of Sylvius was demonstrated by contrast ventriculography and C-T scan. The case of aqueduct stenosis in a dult has been described by spiller and Allen, 1907. Ventriculoperitoneal shunting resulted in clinical improvement with significant change in ventricular size and subarachnoid space.

RÉSUMÉ

Intracranial arteriosclerotic aneurysm is most common in the basilar artery territories, in the old age group. Recently we have experienced a case of fusiform aneurysm of distal branch of middle cerebral artery in a 23 year old soldier. Surgical biopsy revealed it to be arteriosclerotic origin. And arteriosclerotic aneurysm in the young age seems extremely rare, but it seems also worthwhile bearing in mind of that possibility in young aneurysmal patients.

The importance of the suboccipital plexus(Bosniak's Plexus) described by Bosniak in 1963, is emphasized. This rich anastomatic network is formed by the deep and ascending cervical arteries and nuchal brances of the vertebral artery. We experienced this Bosniak's plexus after common carotid artery aneurysm.
