Résumé

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of the non-invasive high frequency ventilation (NHFV) and non-invasive intermittent positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV)in neonates with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) after extubation.Method Neonates with RDS from January 2015 to January 2016,who required high frequency ventilation after birth and were extubated after treatment were retrospectively studied. The enrolled patients were divided into NHFV group and NIPPV group to compare the rate of successful extubation within 7 days,non-invasive respiratory ventilation support time and complication incidence.Result In total 42 neonates were included,NHFV group were 21 cases and NIPPV group were 21 cases. The rates of successful extubation were not statistically different (71.4% vs.80.9%,P > 0.05);Compared with NIPPV group,NHFV group had shorter ventilation time [3.5 (2.2,4.1) d vs.4.6 (2.8,5.3)];the incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pneumothorax, intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia, retinopathy of premature and necrotizing enterocolitis between groups were not statistically different (P > 0.05).Conclusion NHFV is a new safe and efficient ventilation support method for extubated neonates, and needs further research.

Résumé

<p><b>OBJECTIVES</b>To assess the tendency of manometric asymmetry, and to quantitatively evaluate the function of the anal sphincter.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Using the PC polygram HR at the states of relax and squeeze, we compared the values of pressure asymmetry in the anorectum of 27 normal children with that of 12 children with fecal incontinence.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>In the two states, the anal sphincter in normal children showed not only the gradient of pressure, but also a gradient of pressure asymmetry. Children with fecal incontinence did not show any gradients.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Gradients of pressure and pressure asymmetry can quantitatively evaluate the function of the anal sphincter.</p>

Résumé

Objective To understand the depressive status of patients with HIV/AIDS and their family members in order to provide objective information for conducting psychological interventions among them. Method The Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) questionnaires were used for assessing the depressive status and the SPSS software was applied for data analysis. Results The SDS values among the patients with HIV/AIDS and the family members of died AIDS patients were significantly higher than those of healthy controls. The proportion of HIV/AIDS patients with medium to severe degree of depression was 15.5%, which was higher than that of healthy controls. The SDS values among female family members of HIV/AIDS patients were higher than those in male ones. Conclusion The depression is a negative psychological status usually occurred among the patients with HIV/AIDS and their family members, and the psychological interventions should be conducted based on the characteristics of different populations.

Résumé

To investigate some rare causes of obstructive jaundice in children. Three school children with obstructive jaundice caused by uncommon causes were analyzed. Despite pre operative physical examination, B Ultrasonic and CT examinations, the diagnosis was not established. The main clinical manifestation of three patients was obstructive jaundice. Postoperative pathological examination proved that one patient was suffering from cryptococcus neoformans infection of the common bile duct, another embryonal rabdomyosarcoma of common bile duct, and the third primary hydatid cysts in the common bile duct. They were all treated with surgical removal of the lesions, followed by reconstruction of the bile duct and other adjunctive treatment with satisfactory result. The results suggest that obstructive jaundice in children may be caused by some unusual diseases. Comprehensive analysis and corresponding treatments were recommended.
