Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of abdominal acupuncture plus the Confluent Points of the Eight Extraordinary Meridian in treating chronic pharyngitis. Methods:Thirty eligible subjects with chronic pharyngitis were given abdominal acupuncture plus needling Lieque (LU 7) and Zhaohai (KI 6), two out of the Confluent Points of the Eight Extraordinary Meridian, once a day, 10 sessions as a course, and the therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after a treatment course. Results:After a treatment course, of the 30 subjects, 21 were recovered, 5 showed markedly effective, 2 were improved, and 2 failed,the total effective rate was 93.3%. Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture plus the Confluent Points of the Eight Extraordinary Meridian is effective in treating chronic pharyngitis, worth promoting in clinic.

Objective To investigate the protective effects of Trimetazidine(TMZ)on the ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI)of fatty liver in autotransplantation model. Methods Fatty liver model was established by feeding high fat diet. Male Wistar rats (n=30) were randomized into three groups;Sham group, TMZ group and Model group. Liver was autotransplanted in both TMZ group and Model group. Serum levels of ALT, SOD, MDA, Bcl-2 and activated Caspase-3 were assessed 6 hours after the operation. The pathological performances of liver were also determined. Results Compared with the Model group, serum levels of ALT,AST, MDA and SOD levels decreased significantly in the TMZ group(P<0.05). Serum level of Bcl-2 was higher while level of activated Caspase-3 was lower in TMZ group than those in Model group(P<0.05). Histo?logical assay and TUNEL staining showed reduced hepatocyte swelling and narrowed sinusoid as well as decreased hepatic apoptosis in TMZ group compared with Model group. Conclusion TMZ can reduce oxidative stress, promote the expression of Bcl-2 and inhibit the activation of Caspase-3, which all contribute to its protective effect on fatty liver with ischemia-re?perfusion injury.

Objective To indentify the relationship between hepatitis B virus covalently closed circular DNA (HBV cccDNA) and postoperative recurrence of HBV in HBcAb positive liver donors by detecting HBV cccDNA in liver from HBcAb positive liver donors.Method Eighty-five of 1200 patients underwent liver transplantation for hepatitis B-related end-stage liver disease in our hospital from January 2007 to January 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the situation of HBV infection in donor liver,the recipients were divided into 3 groups:(1) the experimental group (livers positive for HBcAb,and negative for HBsAg,n =40),(2) control group (livers positive for HBsAg,n =15),and (3) normal group (donor livers without HBV infection,n =30).HBV cccDNA of donors was detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR.Serum HBV and HBV DNA were regularly tested,and biopsy was done in those positive for HBsAg or HBV DNA to confirm HBV recurrence.The relationship between HBV cccDNA and postoperative recurrence of HBV in HBcAb positive liver donors was analyzed.Result The positive rate of cccDNA was 30％ in experimental group (12、40),73.3％ in control group (11/50),and 0 (normal group).The rate of HBV recurrence in experimental,control and normal groups was 10％ (4/40),80％ (12/15) and 3.3％ (1/30) respectively.The rate of HBV recurrence in the experimental group of cccDNA (+) and cccDNA (-) was 7.5％ (3/40),and 2.5％ (1/40).Conclusion The cccDNA in HBcAb positive donors may be one of the risk factors in HBV recurrence of hepatitis B-related liver transplantation patients.The screening of HBV cccDNA in the donor livers positive for HBcAb before liver transplantation is recommended to reduce the positive HBV recurrence and expand the pool of liver donors for patients with HBV-related liver disease.

Systemic lupus erythematosus is one kind of autoimmune diseases.Immunosuppressants are one of the main drugs for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus.In recent years,more scholars found that hematological malignancies had a certain proportion in malignancies when they researched the incidence of malignant tumors in systemic lupus erythematosus.At the same time,they found that it is associated with the use of immunosuppressants.

ObjectiveTo investigate the changes and significance of urine kidney injury molecule-1(KIM-1) in liver transplant recipients concurrent with early-stage acute kidney injury (AKI).MethodsThe clinical data of orthotopic liver transplantation in 50 cases was retrospectively analyzed.According to the Acute Kidney Injury Network (AKIN) criteria and whether there was AKI for recipients after operation,the recipients were divided into AKI group (27 cases) and non-AKI group (23 cases).Serum creatinine (SCr),urine creatinine (UCr) and urine KIM-1were determined at the scheduled time points,and relationship between urine KIM-1and AK1was analyzed.By using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) and the area under the curve (AUC),the diagnostic accuracy of urine KIM-1for AKI was evaluated.ResultsThe level of SCr reached the highest in two groups at 24 h postoperation,that in AKI group was significantly higher than in non-AKI group (P＜0.05),and then gradually decreased to the preoperative level.The level of urine KIM-1was significantly increased immediately at the time of portal vein reperfusion in two groups,and that in AKI group reached the peak at 2nd h after portal vein reperfusion,significantly higher than in non-AKI group (P＜0.01),which continued 12 h after the portal vein reperfusion.The results showed that the sensitivity was 82.6％ and the specificity was 88.9％ when the urine KIM-114.19 ng/g Ucr was taken as the cutoff to the diagnosis of AKI two h after portal vein repeffusion.ConclusionThe level of urine KIM-1is a reliable biomarker to diagnose AKI after liver transplantation.The intraoperative changes of urine KIM-1may be helpful to early prediction of AKI,for recipients with preoperative normal renal function.

One hundred and twenty-four cases of articulations zyqapophysiales discocation of the inferior thoracic vertebra were treated first with Tuina manipulation of rolling-kneading to relax the affected muscles, next with that of tenderness-plucking to relax the tender muscles and next with that of fixed-point oblique-pulling to restore and treat the injured soft tissues and finally with that of palmpressing flatly to adjust the dislocation. The results showed that 94 cases were cured, 21 improved and 9 ineffective after three treatments. The total effective rate was 92.7 %.

Setting up harmonious relations between doctors and patients is an important part of setting up the socialistic harmonious sociaty.But the tense relation between doctors and patients is still a very outstanding topic.This paper analyzes the reasons of the tense relation between doctors and patients from a new visual angle of the government.the social public and human right guarantee,and investigates the path of setting up harmonious relation between doctors and patients.It thinks the reasons of tense relation between doctors and patients lie in the clash of hospital public welfare and market survival way,the patients are easy to get harm but difficult to guarantee their rights.Therefore,setting up harmonious relations between doctors and patients not only depends on the medical service organization but also depends on the government undertaking the responsibility of the medical treatment guarantees,depends on the reform in the medical service system to make real medical service for common people,depends on the doctors' warm hearts and depends on establishing an organization of the patients who are in bad situation in order to contend with the medical service organization which is in good situation.
