BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that both Panax notoginseng saponins and concentrated growth factor can promote fracture healing,but there are few studies addressing their combined effects on fracture healing.Panax notoginseng saponins may accelerate fracture healing by promoting the release of concentrated growth factor-related factors over a certain period of time. OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Panax notoginseng saponins on concentrated growth factor release and fracture healing in rats. METHODS:Eighteen 8-week-old Sprague-Dawley rats were numbered and randomly divided into three groups:Panax notoginseng saponins group,model control group and blank group.Panax notoginseng saponins group was fed with Panax notoginseng saponins for 2 weeks.Model control group was given 2 mL of normal saline for 2 weeks and blank group was fed normally.Concentrated growth factor was obtained by the centrifugation method both from the Panax notoginseng saponins group and model control group.After 1 week of normal feeding,all animals underwent modeling for femoral fracture.The Panax notoginseng saponins group and the model control group were implanted with autologous concentrated growth factor,and then the release concentration of growth factors at different time points(1 hour,1,3,5,7,9 and 11 days)were measured by ELISA.Fracture healing was assessed based on postoperative X-ray and hematoxylin-eosin staining of bone tissues. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Compared with the model control group,the Panax notoginseng saponins group had higher release concentrations of vascular endothelial growth factor A and transforming growth factor β at 7,9,and 11 days,Platelet-derived growth factor BB at 5,9,and 11 days,and basic fibroblast growth factor at 1-11 days(P<0.01).X-ray examinations indicated that fracture healing in the Panax notoginseng saponins group was better than that in the model control group,and fracture healing in these two groups was better than that in the blank group at 2 months after surgery.Hematoxylin-eosin staining results found that the constituent osteocyte density in the Panax notoginseng saponins group was greater than that in the model control group,and the constituent osteocyte density in these two groups was better than that in the blank group.These findings indicate that Panax notoginseng saponins can increase the concentration of concentrated growth factor-related factors.After intervention with Panax notoginseng saponins,concentrated growth factors are more advantageous in promoting fracture healing in rats.

Objective To determine the median effective plasma concentration (Cp50) of remifentanil inhibiting cardiovascular response to CO2 pneumoperitoneum stimulus when combined with propofol in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.Methods Twenty-two female patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic gynaecological surgery under general anesthesia, aged20-60 years, with a BMI 18-30 kg/m2, falling into ASA physical statusⅠ orⅡ, were enrolled in this study.Anesthesia was induced with propofol and remifentanil target-controlled infusion and iv injection of rocuronium 0.6 mg/kg.The target plasma concentration (Cp) of remifentanil and propofol were set at 5 ng/ml and 4μg/ml respectively.3 minutes after endotracheal intubation, the Cp of remifentanil was adjusted.The target Cp was set at 6 ng/ml in the first patient.CO2 pneumoperitoneum was performed after the target effect-site concentration and Cp were balanced.Each time Cp increased/decreased by 20％in the next patient depending on whether or not the cardiovascular response to CO2 pneumoperitoneum occurred.The positive cardiovascular response was defined as HR and/or MAP increasing by 20％ within 3 minutes after CO2 pneumoperitoneum.The Cp50 and 95％ confidence interval (CI) of remifentanil required to inhibit cardiovascular response to CO2 pneumoperitoneum stimulus when combined with propofol in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynaecological surgery were calculated.Results The Cp50 (95％ CI) of remifentanil required to inhibit cardiovascular response to CO2 pneumoperitoneum stimulus was 4.58 (4.14-5.08) ng/ml when combined with propofol in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.Conclusion The Cp50 of remifentanil required to inhibit cardiovascular response to CO2 pneumoperitoneum stimulus was 4.58 ng/ml when combined with propofol in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.

Objective We aim to evaluate the value of the current serum creatinine reference interval ( RI ) provided by Industry Standard WS /T 404.5 in clinical practice.Methods The first time serum creatinine levels and urinary albumin /creatinine ratio were obtained from 67 605 adult patients ( <60 years old) who were treated in the First Hospital of China Medical University between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015 in this cross-sectional study.Estimated glomerular filtration rate ( eGFR ) calculated by chronic kidney disease epidemiology collaboration (CKD-EPI) equation and urinary albumin /creatinine ratio (ACR) were used to evaluate the clinical practical significance of current and old serum creatinine RIs as the criteria.Results 4.3% of normal subjects based on current RI were showed decreased eGFR, 98% of abnormal subjects based on the current RI were founded to have decreased eGFR . 1378 subjects were evaluated as increased based on current RI but as normal based on old RI , and 93.5% of these subjects were showed decreased eGFR .In addition, ACR was measured in 26 cases, and 18 out of 26 cases (69.2%) were confirmed to have elevated ACR (≥30 mg/g) and proteinuria.On the other hand of analysis, screening positive rates of declined eGFR were 43.6% by old RI and 61.9% by current RI in the subjects with eGFR under 90 ml(min ×1.73 m 2 ), and the performance of the current RI was obviously improved(χ2 =212.648,P <0.001).Conclusions The current reference interval of serum creatinine is favorable for the detection of renal dysfunction in patients .It is recommended that the current reference interval can be applied in the clinical laboratories as early as possible .

Objective To explore three-dimensional ultrasonographic features of common ocular diseases. Methods To acquire the data, the free-hand scanning without positioning system was employed in 3 to 5 seconds. Following or after acquisitions, the data were processed and 3D image was reconstructed. Then three-dimensional ultrasonographic features of ocular diseases were characterized. Results 3D images were rendered successfully on 46 eyes of 48 ones. The reconstruction of 3D ultrasonography provided clear stereo images in which shape, dimension, structure, location of retinal detachment, choroidal detachment, vitreous fibrous membrane, lens dislocation, intraocular foreign body and intraocular trauma could be clearly demonstrated. Conclusions 3D ultrasonography needs much shorter scanning time with good space visualization. In the diagnosis of ocular diseases 3D ultrasonic reconstruction can provide more useful information than traditional 2D ultrasonography.

Objective To solve the problems that data can not be shared in HIS and PACS/RIS integration system,and optimize business processes to meet the growing needs for informationization hospital.Methods Through the use of standard protocol HL7 technology of electronic data transmission with different systems in health care field to develop HL7 Interface Engine,HIS system and PACS/RIS system are integrated tightly to achieve fully data sharing.Results After the completion of HL7 interface engine development,the data sharing problem of HIS and PACS/RIS are solved and improve work efficiency.Conclusion The ripe HL7technology is in line with international standards and the scalability is very good,not only improve the quality of treatment but also guarantee effectively the consistency of inside data in hospital.
