Résumé

A Caderneta da Criança se destina ao acompanhamento do crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil pela sistematização das ações de cuidado integral, vigilância e diagnóstico precoce de problemas de desenvolvimento. Entretanto, a literatura revela a sua subutilização, despreparo técnico, lacunas no conhecimento e comprometimento dos profissionais de saúde. A emergência da síndrome congênita de Zika vírus, entre 2015 e 2017, afetou um número expressivo de crianças em puericultura no estado do Rio de Janeiro e reforçou a necessidade de estratégias para a qualificação do cuidado em rede. A Covid-19 mudou o paradigma metodológico para oferta de capacitações apoiadas por tecnologias de informação e comunicação visando maior capilaridade de qualificação nos territórios. O objetivo do estudo foi descrever o processo de planejamento de uma proposta educativa da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado do Rio de Janeiro para vigilância do crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil, utilizando a Caderneta da Criança para qualificação profissional na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). Elegeu-se o estudo de caso através de uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando a pesquisa documental de um processo intrasetorial, inserido no planejamento estadual, entre 2017 e 2021, centrado na contextualização temática e conjuntural de surgimento e de condução político-administrativa do processo. A classificação de 145 documentos resultou em 34 unidades principais, cuja análise crítica permitiu mapear o "vai e vem" deste processo em correspondência com os processos administrativos e a mudança da proposta educativa inicial no molde semipresencial para o Ensino à distância, associada a um dispositivo digital, para orientar e potencializar o uso do instrumento. Os resultados evidenciaram a realidade de um processo submetido a uma instituição tradicional, vertical, de natureza burocrática com dificuldades traduzidas em desafios enfrentados em função da Crise pandêmica, inserção do modo remoto de trabalho, desabastecimento da Caderneta da Criança no Rio de Janeiro, crises de governo e de governabilidade institucional. Além disso, hipertrofia documental, lentidão na origem em contraponto com a celeridade de tramitação no Sistema eletrônico de informação, frágil integração do planejamento estratégico e do trabalho intrasetorial para executar ações educativas. Exigências formais e imprevisibilidade de execução impuseram o cancelamento da proposta digital e transferência de parte das ações para 2022. Constatou-se a limitação do método na impossibilidade de complementação de entrevistas com informantes-chave. Considera-se que o estudo possa inspirar novas pesquisas sobre processos de planejamento e estratégias de educação mediadas por tecnologias de inovação e comunicação no âmbito da Secretaria, criando uma cultura de inovação nos processos de qualificação profissional da APS do Rio de Janeiro.


The Child's Health Booklet is intended for monitoring children's growth and development through the systematization of comprehensive care actions, attentiveness and early detection of developmental problems. However, the literature reveals its underutilization, technical unpreparedness, gaps in knowledge and commitment of health professionals. The emergence of congenital Zika syndrome, between 2015 and 2017, affected a significant number of children in childcare in the state of Rio de Janeiro and reinforced the need for strategies aspiring the excellence of network care. Covid-19 changed the methodological paradigm for offering training supported by information and communication technologies, aiming at greater capillarity of qualification in the territories. The objective of the study was to describe the planning process of an educational proposal of the Health Secretariat of the State of Rio de Janeiro to monitor child growth and development, using the Child's Health Booklet for professional qualification in Primary Health Care (PHC). The case study was chosen through a qualitative approach, using the documentary research of an intra-sectoral process, inserted in the state planning, between 2017 and 2021, focused on the thematic and conjunctural contextualization of the emergence and political-administrative conduction of the process. The classification of 145 documents resulted in 34 main units, whose critical analysis allowed to map the "back and forth" of this process in correspondence with the administrative processes and the change from the initial educational proposal of blended learning to distance learning, associated with a digital device, to guide and enhance the use of the instrument. The results evidenced the reality of a process submitted to a traditional, vertical, of a bureaucratic nature institution with difficulties translated into challenges faced due to the Pandemic crisis, adoption of remote work, shortage of the Child's Health Booklet in Rio de Janeiro, government and institutional governance crises. In addition, documental hypertrophy, slowness at the origin in contrast to the fast processing in the electronic information System, fragile integration of strategic planning and of intra-sectoral work to carry out educational actions. Formal requirements and unpredictability of execution imposed the cancellation of the digital proposal and the transfer of part of the actions to 2022. The limitation of the method was noted considering the impossibility of completing interviews with key informants. It is considered that the study can inspire new research on planning processes and education strategies mediated by innovation and communication technologies within the Secretariat, creating a culture of innovation in the professional qualification processes of PHC in Rio de Janeiro.

@#The incidence of falls among older adults can be caused by nutritional, health status, physical and environmental factors. The objective of this study was to develop and evaluate the contents in a booklet on nutrition and falls prevention among older adults as a nutritional education material for falls prevention. In Phase I, market survey in bookstore, website search and need assessment among 30 respondents using a questionnaire was conducted. Results from Phase I were used to form a 32-page A5 size booklet that includes information on nutrients related to bone health, recommendations of high protein and calcium menus, ideal exercise and tips to avoid falls in older adults. The content validity of the booklet was conducted among six health professionals to assess the suitability and understanding in Phase II. The content of the booklet (Phase III) was then evaluated among 24 respondents aged 60 years and above. From the need assessment in Phase I, majority of respondents chose 7 to 9 for the score of each questions which indicates the need for all information to be included in the booklet. For Phase II, criteria with highest average score were composition and typography with a score of 60%. For Phase III, most respondents chose “good” for all the criteria stated except for pictures (satisfactory), while 62.5% of respondents stated that they were satisfied with the information contents in the booklet. In conclusion, this booklet can be used as one of the strategies for nutrition education in the prevention of falls among older adults.

Background: Growing frequency and higher intensity of the various types of a natural disaster such as landslides, earthquakes, flood, cloudburst, forest fire, and lightning have been recognized to cause major losses of human life, property, resources, and environment in India. Disaster situation cannot be prevented, but the losses due to disaster can be minimized with adequate preparedness. Adolescents can share learning to their friends, families, and communities so that it is essential to meet their educational need to optimize the quality of life. Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the level of knowledge regarding disaster preparedness and develop information booklet. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey method with quantitative approach was undertaken for the study. A total of 200 school-going adolescents were conveniently recruited from selected schools. Results: The statistical finding shows that the overall mean awareness score of the study participants was 11.29 ± 3.26. Percentage distribution of knowledge level shows that majority (73.5%) of adolescents had moderately adequate knowledge and 23.5% of them had inadequate knowledge, whereas only 3% of adolescents had adequate knowledge on disaster preparedness. Conclusion: Findings of the study conclude that the knowledge of adolescents regarding disaster preparedness was moderately adequate. Therefore, the study brought a need for further teaching of the adolescents regarding disaster preparedness.

The purpose of this study was to clarify feasibility of a booklet for families of children dying with incurable cancer. Of 267 pediatric oncology specialists, 76 (28%) participated in this cross-sectional survey. Ninety-three percent of participants answered that they were “likely to use” the booklet, and 86% percent answered that they believed the booklet was “helpful” for families. Some participants described various advantages of its use as follows: “able to communicate something that is difficult to put into words,” “easy to understand for families,” “families can read whenever they choose to,” and “able to grasp the direction of dying.” In contrast, other participants described points of attention of use as follows: “optimal timing to bring out,” “acceptance of families,” “direction as interdisciplinary team,” “confidential relationship between families and interdisciplinary team,” “disinclination among health care providers,” and “information volume of the booklet.” Thus, our results validated feasibility of the booklet. In conclusion, pediatric oncology specialists should provide their support of utilizing the booklet for families and assessing each family condition and advantage/attention of using the booklet.

Resumo A carteira profissional foi criada no Brasil em 1932. Em seguida, surgiram as Inspetorias Regionais do Trabalho, renomeadas, posteriormente, como Delegacias Regionais do Trabalho. No Rio Grande do Sul, a Inspetoria foi instalada em 1933, em Porto Alegre. A logística para a confecção da carteira consistia no preenchimento de uma ficha de qualificação profissional com os dados pessoais e profissionais dos trabalhadores. Um dos campos da ficha se destinava ao registro dos sinais particulares do solicitante, tais como marcas visíveis e falta de membros. Averiguar a presença de um tipo específico de sinal particular é o objetivo deste artigo. Pretende-se trabalhar com as fotografias 3x4 dos trabalhadores que apresentavam sinais de varíola, bem como com outras informações da ficha.


Abstract Work Register Booklet was created in Brazil in 1932. Soon, Regional Labor Inspectorates emerged – after renamed as Regional Office of Labor. In Rio Grande do Sul, this office was settled in 1933 in Porto Alegre. Procedures for making this booklet consisted of filling a professional qualification form with workers’ personal and professional information. One of the fields consisted of requester’s distinguishing signs, like visible marks and lack of limbs. The purpose of this article is to analyse the presence of one of these distinguishing signs. We use 3x4cm photos of workers who presented smallpox signs, as well as other information written in the fields of their forms.

Introducción: la definición de las competencias es un tema abordado por diferentes sectores en Cuba, en salud pública y en específico en el área de enfermería, se han realizado estudios que demuestran la importnacia de definir las cualidades especificas propias de la actividad de estos profesionales. Objetivo: definir las competencias profesionales del especialista de enfermería comunitaria en Cuba. Métodos: estudio de desarrollo, de carácter nacional, a partir de los resultados de un estudio realizado en el 2011. La información se obtuvo mediante talleres de trabajo con el Comité de expertos, grupo de discusión con los especialistas y búsqueda de consenso con expertos a través del método Delphi. Resultados: se definieron 35 tareas y 19 competencias específicas para los especialistas de enfermería comunitaria, en cuanto a las tareas definidas fueron cuantitativa y cualitativamente superiores a las aprobadas en la Resolución 396/07, que regula la práctica. Conclusiones: las competencias definidas permitirán a los especialistas en enfermería comunitaria realizar de manera apropiada sus funciones, mejorar su desempeño y tener una mayor resolutividad ante las demandas sociales presentes y futuras(AU)

This research appears from the need to carry out more studies about the knowledge of adolescent about body changes, pregnancy and the presence of the health booklet. Objective: To describe how the adolescents perceive the changing body, the risk and consequences of pregnancy at this age, guided by the adolescents health booklet of. Methods: Descriptive study of ten adolescents who are students of a public school. The meeting was followed in three stages: diagnosis evaluation, educational intervention using the adolescence booklet of references and the final evaluation interview. Results: The adolescents did not know the booklet, but showed interest in knowing its content. Conclusions: There is not applicability of the health notebook as resulted from not using the proprieties recommended by the health politics for adolescents(AU)

Introdução: a adolescência é uma etapa da vida que requer atenção e cuidados de saúde em virtude das inúmeras transformações corporais. Esta pesquisa surge da necessidade de aprofundar estudos acerca do conhecimento do adolescente sobre as transformações corporais, gravidez e existência da caderneta de saúde. Objetivo: descrever a percepção dos adolescentes quanto às transformações corporais, riscos e consequências de uma gravidez na adolescência, pautados na caderneta de saúde do adolescente. Métodos: estudo descritivo realizado com 10 adolescentes estudantes de uma escola pública. A coleta seguiu-se em três etapas: avaliação diagnóstica; intervenção educativa utilizando como referencial a caderneta do adolescente; e, ao final, entrevista avaliativa. Resultados: observou-se que os adolescentes não conhecem a caderneta e demonstraram o interesse em conhecer o conteúdo. Conclusão: não ocorre a aplicabilidade da caderneta de sáude em decorrência da não utilização das prioridades preconizadas nas políticas de saúde para o adolescente(AU)


Introducción: la adolescencia es una etapa de la vida que requiere atención y cuidado en virtud de los muchos cambios en el cuerpo. Esta investigación surge de la necesidad de realizar más estudios sobre el conocimiento de los adolescentes acerca de los cambios corporales, el embarazo y la presencia del folleto de salud. Objetivo: describir la percepción de los adolescentes de cómo el cuerpo cambia, los riesgos y consecuencias del embarazo en esta edad, guiados por el folleto salud de los adolescentes. Métodos: estudio descriptivo de 10 estudiantes adolescentes de una escuela pública. La reunión fue seguida en tres etapas: evaluación de diagnóstico; intervención educativa utilizando el folleto adolescente de referencia y la entrevista de evaluación final. Resultados: los adolescentes no conocían el libro y demostraron interés por saber su contenido. Conclusión: no existe la aplicabilidad de libreta de salud como resultado de no utilizar las prioridades recomendadas en las políticas de salud para los adolescentes(AU)

Introdução: O envelhecimento populacional é uma realidade mundial, até mesmo nos países subdesenvolvidos, nunca se teve a chance de viver tanto. Com este novo quadro demográfico, surgiu a necessidade do desenvolvimento de dispositivos legais para nortear ações sociais e de saúde. Dentre eles, a Política Nacional de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa, marcada pelo paradigma da capacidade funcional, parametrizando assim, a Caderneta de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa, que representa um instrumento de delineamento do perfil dos idosos, identificando-os a partir da configuração de um estado de fragilização, colaborando com a formulação das ações de saúde focadas no envelhecimento com qualidade. Objetivo: Conhecer as representações sociais de idosos sobre a Caderneta de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa e suas influências na adesão pelos idosos no contexto da Atenção Básica. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório de abordagem qualitativa, realizado nas unidades do Distrito Sanitário V, com 103 idosos com idade igual ou superior a sessenta anos. A pesquisa ocorreu no período de julho a setembro de 2014, respeitando os critérios éticos da Resolução 466/12, em que os dados foram coletados a partir de uma entrevista semiestruturada contemplando questões relacionadas ao uso da caderneta de saúde pelos idosos.


Introduction: The ageing population is a global reality, even in developing countries people have never had a chance to live so long. This new demographic situation caused the necessity to develop legal provisions to guide social and health actions. Among them, the National Health Policy for the Elderly, marked by the paradigm of the functional capacity and along with it comes the Health Handbook of the Elderly, which represents a delimitation instrument of the profile of the elderly, identifying frail elderly people or in the process of embrittlement, collaborating with the formulation of health actions focused on aging well. Objective: The objective of this study is to know the social representations of elderly about the health booklet of the elderly and to understand its membership in the context of primary care. Methodology: This is an exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach performed with 103 elderly people with age above sixty years at the units of the Sanitary District V. The study was conducted between July and September 2014, respecting the ethical criteria of the Resolution 466/12.The data collection was performed by a semi-structured interview contemplating questions related to the booklet.

Résumé

O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar qualitativamente os efeitos do uso de Manual Informativo (MI) sobre a compreensão das informações e comportamentos dos familiares nas visitas aos pacientes. Foram utilizadas entrevista semiestruturadas. Os seis primeiros familiares, Grupo I, não receberam o MI. Os seis seguintes, Grupo II, receberam o MI. Todos foram entrevistados nas primeiras 72 horas de internação. No Grupo I, identificaram-se percepções incompletas sobre UTI e paciente, dificultando a formulação perguntas e acentuando sentimentos de impotência e isolamento. No Grupo II, evidenciaram-se maiores compreensão e coerência das informações, maior domínio de termos técnicos e comportamentos mais ativos dos familiares. A informação escrita sistematizada colaborou para o esclarecimento dos familiares, aumentando segurança em relação aos profissionais/pacientes, diminuindo seu sofrimento.


The aim of this study was to analyse qualitatively the use of Informative Booklet (IB) in order to comprehend information and behaviours of relatives during visits to patients. Semi-structured interviews were held. At first, six relatives, named Group 1, were not analysed with IB. On the other hand, the following six, group 2, were. All of them were interviewed during the first 72 hours of hospitalization. In Group 1, incomplete perceptions were identified on ICU and patients. Thus, not only was it difficult to pose questions, but also feelings of helplessness and isolation have been accentuated. In Group 2, we could perceive a higher comprehension of information, greater use of technical terms, and more active behaviours. Systematised and written information contributed to enlighten relatives, increasing confidence on professionals and patients, thus reducing suffering.


El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar cualitativamente efectos del uso del Manual de Información (MI) sobre la comprensión de las informaciones y los comportamientos de los parientes en las visitas a los pacientes. Se utilizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas. Los primeros seis familiares, Grupo I, no recibieron el MI. Los seis siguientes, Grupo II, recibieron el MI. Todos ellos fueron entrevistados en las primeras 72 horas de hospitalización. En el Grupo I, fueron identificadas percepciones incompletas sobre la UCI y paciente, lo que puede dificultar la formulación de preguntas y acentuar los sentimientos de impotencia y aislamiento. En el Grupo II, los familiares mostraron más comprensión de la información, mayor dominio de términos técnicos y comportamientos más activos. La información escrita y sistematizada parece contribuir para la clarificación de los parientes, para aumentar la seguridad en lo referente a profesionales/pacientes, reduciendo su sufrimiento.

Résumé

O objetivo deste trabalho é problematizar a Caderneta de Saúde do Adolescente, produzida pelo Ministério da Saúde. Nele discutimos alguns paradoxos entre a Caderneta e a política pública de saúde brasileira, a partir da análise de discurso foucaultiana. Organizamos nossa análise em quatro eixos de discussão: os conceitos de adolescência e juventude; a abordagem biologicista; a integralidade; a juventude e cidadania. Em seguida, colocamos a Caderneta em análise a partir do que propõe a Política Nacional de Promoção de Saúde. Finalizamos pontuando que a Caderneta não acompanha a concepção ampliada de saúde e o princípio da integralidade propostos pelo SUS, priorizando uma concepção de saúde que enfatiza a dimensão biológica. Percebemos também a ausência de referências a diferentes modos de ser jovem, assim como a produção de um discurso sobre saúde focado na prescrição, orientação e indicação de um modo ideal de vida saudável, pautado principalmente nos cuidados com o corpo.


This work aims to problematize the Adolescent Health Booklet, produced by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. We discuss some paradoxes between the Booklet and the Brazilian public health policy, from a foucaultian discourse analysis perspective. Our analysis is organized in four discussion axis: the concepts of adolescence and youth; the biologicist approach; the integrality of health care; youth and citizenship. After that we analyze the Booklet in relationship with the National Health Promotion Policy. We conclude that the Booklet does not follow the expanded conception of health and the principle of integrality of health care, proposed by the Brazilian National Health System. It prioritizes a conception of health that emphasizes the biological dimension. We also observed the absence of references to different ways of being young, as well as the production of a discourse on health focused on prescription, orientation and indication of an ideal way of leading a healthy life, based mainly on body care.


Este trabajo tiene como objetivo problematizar la Cartilla de Salud del Adolescente, producida por el Ministerio de Salud. Discutimos algunas paradojas entre la Cartilla y la política pública de salud a partir del análisis del discurso foucaultiana. Organizamos nuestro análisis en cuatro ejes: los conceptos de adolescencia y juventud; el abordaje biologicista; la integridad; la juventud y la ciudadanía. Seguidamente, analizamos la Cartilla a partir de lo que propone la Política Nacional de Promoción de Salud. Concluimos que la Cartilla no va acorde con la concepción amplia de salud y el principio de integridad propuestos por el Sistema Unico de Salud, priorizando una concepción de salud que enfatiza la dimensión biológica. Percibimos la ausencia de referencias a diferentes modos de ser joven, así como la producción de un discurso sobre la salud con enfoque en la prescripción, orientación e indicación de un modelo ideal de vida saludable, centrando los cuidados en el cuerpo.

Résumé

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a common disorder among elderly and may worsen to dementia. The aim of this study is to develop a nutrition and lifestyle booklet to implement better lifestyle modification, as an effort to delay cognitive decline. A series of discussions with a research group comprising of dieticians, nutritionists, a geriatrician and a public health physician were conducted to ascertain the content of the booklet. There were seven guidelines in the booklet including; eat more fish, eat more foods rich in folic acid, eat more fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly, do activities to stimulate memory, stop smoking and alcohol drinking and stay cheerful and positive. Evaluation of acceptance for the booklet was carried out which comprised of assessment on content, graphic and design among elderly and health staff at health clinic in Cheras. The assessment involved 15 Malay elderly subjects aged 60 to 81 years (mean age 66.1 ± 6.6 years), with 60.0% men and 40.0% women and 10 health staff aged 36.6 ± 12.0 years, with range of 27 to 58 years, consists of 20.0% men and 80.0% women also participated. Most of elderly subjects (80.0%, n = 12) indicated they understood information in the booklet. Meanwhile, 20.0% (n = 3) of elderly expressed they did not fully understand the content of the booklet in particular on sentence and terminology. All health staff (100.0%) understood the information in the booklet. This booklet was well accepted by elderly subjects and health staff, however adding more graphics, simplifying sentence structures and minimizing scientific terminologies to improve understanding were suggested. The booklet has the potential to increase the nutritional and health knowledge of elderly specifically with MCI. This would motivate them to adopt healthy eating and lifestyle, thus reducing cognitive decline and prevent dementia.

Résumé

The objective of this study was to develop nutrition education materials for older adults, 'nutritional management for healthy aging'. A booklet and four leaflets were developed based on lesson plans. Topics of the lesson plans included eating habit assessment, Korean food guide pyramid, meal planning, eating sensibly and weight management. The titles of the leaflets were 'Eating right for healthy aging', 'Eat calcium-rich foods', 'Enjoy fruits & vegetables' and 'Weight management'. Illustrations and icons appropriate to the texts were designed using Illustrator 9.0 and Photoshop 6.0. Booklet (letter size, 5 chapters, 44 pages) and leaflets (B4 size, 6 sections) focused on modifying undesirable eating habits, providing practical tips for desirable behaviors, and behavioral modification such as recording in a food diary, goal setting and increasing self-efficacy. The drafts were pilot-tested by interviews with older adults(n=10), and minor changes were made. The characteristics of revised materials are as follows; i) materials focused on providing desirable eating behaviors for healthy aging, ii) messages were simple and specific, iii) large fonts(13 pt) were used and materials included interesting pictures and illustrations, iv) materials provided tips for balanced diets and recipes for older adults, v) materials included sections for participation of learners including assessment of nutritional risk factors and obesity, meal planning and games. The revised materials are self-explanatory and can be used by older adults and in nutrition education for older adults.
