Résumé

Objective To analyze the status of job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators in Fujian province during the normalization period of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic prevention and control and put forward corresponding suggestions. Methods The job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators in Fujian province was investigated by online questionnaires. The correlation analysis of all dimensions of the overall job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators was carried out, and the influencing factors of the overall job satisfaction were analyzed. Results The overall job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators was (2.9±0.8), which was a relatively low score. The job promotion satisfaction was (4.7±1.3), (2.0±1.4) for the job pay and benefits satisfaction, and (2.0±1.3) for the job communication satisfaction. The job pay and benefits satisfaction was positively correlated with job communication satisfaction (r=0.653, P < 0.05). Multiple factors differed in job satisFfaction. The overall job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators was associated with gender, nature of job, working years, average monthly income, age, educational background and nature of post. Conclusions The job satisfaction of human organ donation coordinators is relatively low in Fujian province during the normalization period of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. Flexible and diverse methods should be employed from the government and hospital levels to further improve security policies for human organ donation coordinators.

PURPOSE: This study was done to analyze the relationship between organizational communication satisfaction and organizational commitment among hospital nurses. METHOD: A survey was conducted with 647 nurses who were working in 24 hospitals in Korea. Data were collected during August 2010. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression. RESULTS: The mean level of organizational communication satisfaction was 3.15 (min 1.88 -max 4.88) and the mean level of organizational commitment was 3.21 (min 1.33 - max 4.83). There was a statistically significant correlation between organizational communication satisfaction and organizational commitment (r=. 655). According to analysis of the impact of the subconstructions of organizational communication satisfaction on organizational commitment, the following factors had significant influence on organizational communication satisfaction: vertical communication, communication media, and organizational climate. CONCLUSION: These findings showed that communication satisfaction was the most important factor for nurses' organizational commitment. Therefore, there is a need to develop communication strategies and skills for hospital nurses to increase the level of communication satisfaction.

Objectives:To study the satisfaction with doctor-patient communication among cancer patients, their relatives and medical staffs, and its associated factors.Methods:A total of 423 cancer patients were asked to rate their satisfaction with information communication, to complete the Information Need Questionnaire (INQ), the Demographic Questionnaire (DQ), and 4 questions regarding general information amount and content the patients got and wanted respectively. 82 relatives, 86 medical staffs were also asked to rate their satisfaction with information communication.Results:A certain proportion of cancer patients, their relatives and medical staffs were not very satisfied with their information communication. There are significant differences among them. The satisfaction of medical staffs was less. It suggests that they want to improve their communication level. Satisfaction with information communication of cancer patients was affected by the contents and styles of information communication, and whether their communication experiences met their preferences.Conclusions:Before providing information to cancer patients, we need to consider the style they want and to find out their needs and preferences.
