Résumé

Objective:To analyze the competence assessment examinations of registered dietitians in China during 2017-2021 to inform the training of dietetic professionals.Methods:A systematic review was conducted about the composition and changing trends of examination participants during 2017-2021. Participants were divided into subgroups based on gender, age, education, professional background and affiliations and the qualification rate was compared across different subgroups.Results:The number of examination participants showed an increasing trend overall, with the majority being females and aged 26-35 years. The ratio of participants with bachelor's: master's: doctor's degree was about 15: 9: 1. The proportion of participants majoring in nutrition science decreased from 32.1% to 20.3%, while that of participants majoring in other medical and food sciences increased. Among participants from healthcare institutions, a decreasing proportion of participants were with a major in nutrition science, while this proportion among participants from companies were stable at 38.8% to 50.2%. The average qualification rate was 35.7%, showing no significant differences among different gender and age groups. But the qualification rate varied significantly across subgroups with different education level, professional background, and affiliations ( P < 0.05). Subgroups with more advanced degrees showed higher qualification rate and the best rate was observed in the subgroups with professional background in nutrition science and from nutrition-related institutions. Conclusion:The training of dietetic professionals in China should be improved, lifelong learning should be promoted in nutrition practitioners, and the sustainable development of dietitians should be impelled.

BACKGROUND: Recently, competency-based education has been reorganized in the dental hygiene curriculum. In education, non-cognitive factors are emphasized. Grit, the non-cognitive ability to persevere to achieve an individual’s long-term goals, is emerging. This study aims to identify the degree of grit and core competencies in students and to investigate the relationship between them and the factors that affect these core competencies. METHODS: This study was conducted using 350 dental hygiene students who were randomly assigned a structured questionnaire to complete. The final analysis included 321 students. The survey contents evaluated grit, core competencies, and general characteristics. The difference in the degree of grit and core competencies in conjunction with the general characteristics of the subjects was analyzed using the t-test/Mann Whitney U-test and the ANOVA/Kruskal-Wallis H test. Multiple regression analysis was then conducted to determine the factors affecting the core competencies of the subjects. RESULTS: The difference of ‘grit’ according to general characteristics was statistically significant in ‘major satisfaction’, ‘relationship’, ‘perceived academic achievement’, ‘grade point average (GPA)’. The difference in ‘core competency’ according to general characteristics was statistically significant in ‘grade’, ‘department selection’, ‘major satisfaction’, ‘relationship’, ‘perceived academic achievement’, ‘GPA’. Among the sub-areas of ‘grit’, ‘perseverance of effort’ showed a high correlation with ‘core competency’ and was statistically significant. As a result of regression analysis, ‘major satisfaction’, ‘perceived academic achievement’ and ‘grit’ of dental hygiene students had a statistically significant influence on ‘core competency’. Meanwhile, ‘GPA’ was not seen to be statistically significant in ‘core competency’. CONCLUSION: Grit, a non-cognitive factor, had a statistically significant effect on core competency, while the effects on GPA, a cognitive factor, were not statistically significant. Among the sub-factors of grit, ‘perseverance of effort’ had a statistically significant effect on ‘problem-solving competency’ and ‘academic competency’, which are ‘core competency’ sub factors.

O mundo globalizado demanda atuação estratégica da gestão de pessoas no ambiente laboral. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a influência da percepção de estratégias de gestão de pessoas sobre a percepção de desenvolvimento profissional. A amostra (de conveniência) contemplou 562 profissionais de diferentes áreas de atuação em organizações públicas e privadas, sendo que 15,4% ocupavam cargos gerenciais. O questionário continha a Escala de Percepção Evolutiva do Desenvolvimento Profissional; e a Escala de Percepção de Políticas de Gestão de Pessoas. Os resultados da análise por equações estruturais apontaram um modelo com bom ajuste, em que a percepção de políticas que estimulam o envolvimento com o trabalho e o treinamento são preditores da percepção de desenvolvimento profissional. As conclusões corroboram a literatura da área acerca da influência das políticas de gestão de pessoas sobre as percepções dos trabalhadores e convidam à reflexão daqueles que pesquisam e atuam na área.


The globalized world demands strategic action of people management in the work environment. The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of the perception of people management strategies on the perception of professional development. The sample (of convenience) included 562 professionals from different areas of activity in public and private organizations, with 15.4% in managerial positions. The questionnaire contained the Professional Evolution Evolutionary Perception Scale and the People Management Policy Perception Scale. The results of the analysis by structural equations pointed to a model with good adjustment, in which the perception of policies that stimulate the involvement with the work and the training are predictors of the perception of professional development. The conclusions corroborate the literature of the area about the influence of the policies of people management on the perceptions of the workers and invite the reflection of those who research and work in the area.


El mundo globalizado demanda actuación estratégica de la gestión de personas en el ambiente laboral. El objetivo de este estudio fue investigar la influencia de la percepción de estrategias de gestión de personas sobre la percepción del desarrollo profesional. La muestra (de conveniencia) contempló 562 profesionales de diferentes áreas de actuación en organizaciones públicas y privadas, siendo que el 15,4% ocupaba cargos gerenciales. El cuestionario contenía la Escala de Percepción Evolutiva del Desarrollo Profesional; y la Escala de Percepción de Políticas de Gestión de Personas. Los resultados del análisis por ecuaciones estructurales apuntaron un modelo con buen ajuste, en que la percepción de políticas que estimulan la participación con el trabajo y el entrenamiento son predictores de la percepción de desarrollo profesional. Las conclusiones corroboran la literatura del área acerca de la influencia de las políticas de gestión de personas sobre las percepciones de los trabajadores e invitan a la reflexión de aquellos que investigan y actúan en el área.

Based on the characteristics that most patients in Vocational Rehabilitation Department of Guangdong Provincial Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital are patients with occupational injuries,the paper analyzes the hospitalized business process,concretely introduces the main functional modules,design framework,safety requirements,database design,etc.of the vocational competency assessment system.The application of this system provides references for rehabilitation doctors and vocational rehabilitation therapists to make training schemes,strengthens patient information management,improves working efficiency and service level.

Résumé

La evaluación de competencias psicoeducativas resulta trascendental en el diseño de formación especializada para mejorar la intervención de quienes trabajan con adolescentes infractores. A través de un diseño cuasiexperimental pre y post, se evaluó el impacto de un proceso de formación en las competencias psicoeducativas de grupos de profesionales y técnicos. Utilizando el instrumento Test de Competencias Psicoeducativas, se observó que estas aumentan después de un proceso de formación especializado especialmente en técnicos, y preferentemente en la capacidad de planificación en ambos grupos. Se discuten los resultados en torno a las distinciones que se deben considerar en un programa de formación idóneo para cada grupo objetivo.


The assessment of psychoeducational skills is crucial in the design of specialized training to enhance the involvement of those working with offenders. Through a pre and post quasi-experimental design, we evaluated the impact of a process of training in psycho-educational skills of professionals and technicians. Using the Psychoeducational Competency Test, found that these skills improve after a specialized training process, especially in the technical group and preferably in the planning capacity in both groups. Results are discussed regarding the distinctions that should be considered in an appropriate training program for each target group.
