Do diário íntimo ao blog: o sujeito entre a linearidade e a espacialidade / From personal diaries to blogs: the subject between linearity and spatiality

Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o suporte material utilizado na prática da escrita de si e a dimensão espaço-temporal que o envolve, pensando a noção de sujeito implicada nesta dimensão. O diário é uma forma de escrita de si que originalmente se caracterizava pelo seu caráter íntimo e confessional. O blog pode ser considerado como um diário on-line, contemporâneo, de caráter público. Com relação ao suporte material, os diários íntimos são "escritos de si" reunidos em folhas encadernadas, seguindo uma ordem cronológica, que favorece uma leitura linear, sequencial e contínua. Os blogs, como diários virtuais, são textos fragmentados, descontínuos, móveis e abertos, escritos no ciberespaço e lançados no espaço público. Do diário íntimo ao diário público opera-se uma passagem, da linearidade à espacialidade. Buscamos fazer uma aproximação entre a noção de espacialidade do espaço virtual e a noção de "constelação" utilizada na literatura e na psicanálise. A partir das considerações sobre a lógica constelar no ciberespaço, buscamos fazer uma reflexão sobre as mudanças ocorridas no estatuto de sujeito, da lógica linear à lógica constelar.

This article poses a reflection on the material support used in a practice here referred as a writing practice about oneself, represented by the personal diaries, and the temporal-spatial dimension involved in this task, having the notion of subject embedded in such dimension. Personal diaries were originally characterized by their intimate and confessional feature. In relation to the material support, personal diaries are writings about oneself which follow a chronological sequence, allowing a linear and continuous reading of hand-written thoughts in/ traditional notebooks. On the other hand, blogs have been regarded as on-line diaries resulting in a public and contemporary format: their contents consist of fragmented and discontinuous texts, written in the cyberspace and launched in a public space. The shift from personal diaries to the so called "public diaries" has led to a change from linearity to spatiality. Having this in mind, we have made an attempt to approximate the notion of spatiality of virtual space with the notion of "constellation" as it is viewed in both the literature and psychoanalysis fields. From considerations about the constellar logics within the cyberspace, this article eventually reflects on the changes occurred in the subject status, focusing on the passage from a linear logics to a constellar logics.

Da cadeia significante à constelação de letras: os signos do gozo / From the significant chain to the constellation of letters: the signs of jouissance

O funcionamento constelar, que começa com Mallarmé (1897) e vigora principalmente na primeira metade do século XX nas letras e nas artes, declina no início dos anos 1970, momento no qual entra em consideração no campo da psicanálise através do texto "Lituraterra" (1971), de Jacques Lacan. Essa entrada, a partir da qual a letra torna-se signo de gozo, é possibilitada pelo declínio do estruturalismo e da linearidade da linguística saussuriana e, de algum modo, abre as trilhas para uma escrita borromeana.

The constellation functioning, that starts with Mallarmé (1897) and invigorates mainly in the first half of the twentieth century in the field of Letters and Arts, declines at the beginning of the seventies, moment in which it enters into consideration in the field of Psychoanalysis in the text "Lituraterra" (1971). This entrance, from which the letter becomes a sign of jouissance, is made possible by the decline of structuralism and of the linearity of the saussurian linguistics and, in some way, it opens the trails to the borromean writing.
