Research on the Development of Translation Disambiguation Technology in Cross - language Information Retrieval / 医学信息学杂志

The paper introduces the connotation and development of cross - language information retrieval (CLIR), furthermore, ten kinds of translation disambiguation techniques are demonstrated as following. In addition it carries out contrastive analysis and expla-nation of disambiguation from four aspects, including core foundation, application status, potential improvement and development pros-pects. On this base it summarizes the status and development trends and proposes several directions of future research.
