Resumen Hemos de resignificar el papel de la Universidad hoy ante esta profunda crisis civilizatoria; el punto de partida será lograr un acuerdo común para rescatarla y jamás permitir que sea ella una correa de transmisión de un modelo económico, político y social negador del sujeto, despojador y colonial; por el contrario, potenciarla como eje de las transformaciones esenciales que hoy la vida y los seres humanos necesitamos.
Abstract We must re-signify the role of the University today in the face of this profound civilizational crisis. The starting point will be to reach a common agreement in order to rescue it and never allow it to be a transmission belt of an economic, political, and social model, a denier of the subject, stripper and colonial. On the contrary, to enhance it as the axis of the essential transformations that today life and human beings need.
Résumé
El presente artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación comunitaria realizada en el Barrio Villa Turbay de la Ciudad de Medellín, el objetivo era realizar un estudio no solo para conocer la realidad, sino aportar a su transformación; en este proceso de investigación la comunidad participó tanto en su formulación como en el análisis de la información; adicional al producto mismo de la investigación, esta se tomaron como importantes insumo en la construcción de un Plan Alternativo de Desarrollo Barrial de cara a la próxima reformulación de los Planes de ordenamiento Territorial que definirá el rumbo a seguir del uso del suelo y sus relaciones culturales en la Ciudad de Medellín.
This article presents the results of a community survey in the Villa Turbay neighborhood in the city of Medellin. The objective was to carry out a study not only to know the reality, but also to contribute to its transformation. In this research process, the community participated both in its formulation and analysis of information; as well as its final product., which were taken as being important input in the construction of an Alternative Plan of Neighborhood Development as for the next reformulation of Territorial Development Plans that will define the direction to follow regarding the use of the soil and its cultural relationships in the city of Medellin.

El presente artículo es la primera producción de la investigación: Conflictos por el territorio asociados a la gran Minería en Antioquia - Colombia, en este texto se presentan las conclusiones de la primera fase que da cuenta de la dinámica económica extractiva que viene asumiendo Colombia en los últimos 10 años como ruta estratégica que responde a las necesidades de recursos naturales disponibles y a bajo costo que demanda la actual crisis del capital internacional, decisiones que favorecen intereses foráneos pero involucran y ponen en riesgo las lógicas culturales, las autonomía, la soberanía, la vida, la dignidad y el entorno natural de los habitantes de los territorios de interés para el desarrollo de estos grandes proyectos de extracción de recursos naturales.
This article is the first production of a piece of research: Conflicts over the territory associated with large-scale mining in Antioquia, Colombia. It presents the conclusions of the first phase, which gives an account of the extractive economic dynamics that Colombia has been taking in the last 10 years, as a strategic route that responds to the needs of the availability of low-cost natural resources, demanded by the current crisis of the international capital. These decisions favor foreign interests, which involve and jeopardize the cultural logics, autonomy, sovereignty, life, dignity and the natural environment of the inhabitants of the territories of interest to the development of these large natural resources extraction projects.
