Résumé

Although the healthcare system of the Yuan Dynasty followed that of the Song Dynasty, there are certain differences between these two dynasties in terms of practices. Including appointing ‘Yihus’ in ‘Zhusehuji’ and setting up ‘Guanyitijusi’ to oversee Yihus, the Yuan Dynasty developed an effective management system for their physicians and, soon after the coronation of Khubilai, built ‘Yixue (Medical school)’ all over its territories in order to establish an organized and substantial medical training system. Moreover, the Yuan Dynasty not only revived the civil service examination system system between 1314 and 1320 as well as the medical examination system, but also increased the quota for qualification to twice that of Confucian examination in Song. These changes resulted in producing many brilliant people at the time. In the second half of the reign of Emperor Chengzong it was decided that the incompetence of the government healthcare organizations and the abundance of charlatans could not be neglected any longer. Existing policies and systems was limited in educating and training proper physicians, and this problem was not restricted to the field of medicine. The need for new systems that could reform the social order led to the restoration of the civil service examination system. The civil service examination system for Confucianism and for medicine began in 1314 and 1316, respectively. The purpose of the medical examination system was to select medical officials. The medical examination system which started in 1316 had a significant impact on the medicine of the Yuan dynasty for many reasons. Firstly, the qualification to apply to the medical examination did not remain constricted to ‘Yixue’ but opened to all ‘Zhusehuji’; and secondly, the examination system did not have a restriction on the number of applicants was not restricted. The most important aspect of the examination system was that the number of test takers that passed the first test was one hundred and the number of passers of the second test were thirty, which were not low compared to the number of passers of the Confucianism examination. As such, the impact of the medical examination on the Yuan society was substantial. The Confucian examination selected 300 persons to pass the first test. The second test had 100 test takers which was equally divided among the four social classes at 25 percent each. The medical system selected 100 persons in the first test and 30 in the second. What is important is that unlike the Confucian examination system, the medical system was not divided into four classes. Hypothetically, the 30 qualified persons could all be South Chinese. In terms of the number of passers, it was much more promising for the South Chinese to flourish through the medical test than through Confucian examination test. Such facts support the claim that the Yuan Dynasty emphasized the field of medicine compared to the Song Dynasty. Although the Song Dynasty implemented the civil service examination system early on, the medical system was not implemented until 1115, which started with the founding of ‘Yixue’ across the country and assigning student capacity. During the Song Dynasty, the number of students in the medical system was 15 percent of that in the Confucianism system, and compared to that in Yuan, it raised to 30 percent, which is twofold. The indications of the Yuan Dynasty valuing medicine and making an effort to educate and train medical experts can be seen in the ‘Yihu system’, ‘Guanyitijusi’, Yixuetijusi’, and medical school as well as the ratio of the medical system capacity.

Résumé

A B/S framework -based library entrance examination system was developed for new students using the PHP language and SQL server database according to their unsatisfactory training results, which can maintain the in-formation of entrance examination-involved students and examination papers, automatic generating and marking of examination papers. The new students were registered to a regular reader after they passed the examination, and could thus have the right to entry the library, select a seat, loan books or journals, use a computer, and participate in library-held culture activities. The new students could understand the library rules and regulations, control their behaviors against library rules and regulations, and rapidly place themselves in the study environment of library.

Résumé

A large coverage on-line learning and examination systems on the internet so far has not gained wide usage and application even though some systems are available commercially because those internet based systems have certain demands of capitals , technology and skilled personals .Our system is half on -line and half off line for examinations .The on-line part is for giving out examination questions and collecting answers , whereas student writ-ing exams and instructors marking the exams are carried out by going off -line.Such a exam-writing application re-duces its dependence on the internet , which is easier for exam-writers in a remote area to use .This half on-line system can be used as a back -up application for the whole on -line examination system , but definitely has more ad-vantages for hospitals in remote areas where the internet is not reliable and popular , and well-trained technicians are lacking.

Résumé

The examination system for the licensing of doctors was eventually established against a background of constant growth of China's socialist market economy. Conduction of the professional qualification examination is the prerequisite of the State's adoption of the professional license system. It is also the inevitable choice for developing a mature and standard socialist market economy. The paper reviews the process of the establishment of the system, out- lines the features of the examination in content design, organization and implementation, and puts forward measures for perfecting the system in China. The measures include: further improving the organization and management system and the rules and regulations for conducting the examination; grasping the features and patterns of criterion-referenced test- ing in the field of medical examinations; rendering the examination system more scientific, ettectine and reliable; and deepening reform of medical education under the framework of the new medical examination system. Résumé

OBJECTIVES: We tried to establish a Regional Occupational Surveillance System (ROSS) for estimating the prevalence and monitoring the trend of occupational dermatitis among 718 manufacturing workers exposed to organic solvents and nonmetallic chemicals in small and medium sized businesses of 1,2 industrial complex area of taejon City. METHODS: Through the report from the nurses of Group Occupational Health Management System, we made a case referral and immediate health examination system with occupational medical clinics. We also performed a survey for detecting occupational dermatitis by a self-administered questionnaire. Case must meet 3 criteria; 1) He/She must have one or more significant cutaneous signs and symptoms. 2) The symptom should be changed by the work condition or caused by risk chemicals. 3) Dermatitis should be diagnosed by a doctor. Results Among the 131 workers(17. 7 %) with significant symptoms screened by the questionnaire, 4 workers(0. 6 %) met the case definition criteria. And among the 45 workers (6. 3 9o) referred to the immediate diagnosed system, 14 workers (l. 9 %) were Strongly suspected to have occupational dermatitis. CONCLUSIONS: These prevalence rates were quite underestimated because of deficient recognition of the disease severity among the workers, reversibility of the target diseases, and life-threathening mood due to nationwide economic crisis and the socioeconomic withdrawal of each business. Ultimately, harmonized activities of government, industry, labor unions, volunteer organization and academy relating to occupational health in a community should be encouraged to do creative, consistent efforts for evolution and development of this first trial of ROSS.
