Résumé

The individual personality traits of diabetes patients are important to understanding in order to effectively educate patients about their disease. A variety of perspectives and theoretical backgrounds may be useful to assess individual patients. In this paper, we present information regarding effective diabetes education through the understanding of different personality types and their characteristics. When the individual characteristics of patients are understood and relationships between patients and educators are based on mutual trust and respect, the self-management motivation of patients will be maximized, as will the quality of patient's lives.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the knowledge situation about prevention and treatment of oral infective diseases in diabetic inpatients and analyze the effects of education intervention.METHODS In this study,100 cases of diabetic patients with oral infective diseases were studied by questionnaires and educated on prevention and treatment of oral infective diseases.Comparison was made to evaluate improvement of knowledge about prevention and treatment of oral infective diseases.RESULTS Diabetic inpatients learnt less about the etiology,clinical manifestations and prevention and treatment of oral infective diseases.After individualized education,patients′ relevant knowledge levels were significantly increased(P

@#ObjectiveTo study the method and effect of individualized education on children with learning disability (LD).Methods30 children during 7-10 year old in a local boarding elementary school were chosen and guided individually as the following: sensory integration dysfunction drill, subtle motion drill, life skills drill, cognitive capability drill, behavior therapy, game therapy, music therapy and parents education. One and a half year later, the index of Sensory Integration Rating Scales and study marks were determined and compared with that of the normal children.ResultsThere is not significant difference between the LD children and the normal ones in the sensory integration of behavior and the learning achievement.ConclusionIndividualized education is a valid approach improving the potentiality of the LD children\'s physiology and psychology.
