ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects of Jianwei yuyang capsule combined with triad-therapy of western medicine on helicobacter pylori-related peptic ulcer in elderly.MethodsEighty patients above 60 years with peptic ulcer infected with helicobacter pylori were divided into two groups by random,and were treated with Jianweiyuyang capsule combined with triad-therapy of western medicine or triad-therapy of western medicine for 4weeks.The endoscopy and biopsy staining were used to analyze the cure rate and the helicobacter pylori eradication rate at the 6th week after the end of the treatment,and the main symptom improvement were observed.ResultsIn the treatment group,the cure rate,the helicobacter pylori eradication rate and total effective rate were significantly higher than control group.The two groups were significantly different ( P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionJianweiyuyang capsule combined with triad-therapy of western medicine was a more ideal treatment program for helicobacter pylori-related peptic ulcer in elderly.

Objective To study the effects of Jianwei Yuyang granule on TGF-? 1 expression in the healing process of rat gastric ulcer induced by acetic acid. Methods Animal model of gastric ulcer in rat was set up with the modified Okabe's method, and the TGF-? 1 expression in the gastric ulcerated tissues was detected by immunohistochemical technique. Results TGF-? 1 expression in gastric ulcerated tissues during the healing process in Jianwei Yuyang group significantly increased compared with the normal, model and famotidine treatment groups. Conclusion TGF-? 1 expression in gastric ulcerated tissues induced by acetic acid during the healing process significantly increased,especially in Jianwei Yuyang group. Jianwei Yuyang granule may accelerate gastric ulcer healing by increasing TGF-? 1 expression in gastric ulcerated tissues.

AIM:To observe the effect of Jianwei Yuyang Granule(Radix Bupleuri,Radix Codonopsis,Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae,Rhizoma Corydalis,etc.) on the expressions of PS_2 and platelet activating factor(PAF) of helicobacterpylori-associated gastritis and study the potential mechanisim. METHODS:80 cases were divided into two groups.Jianwei Yuyang Granule group(42 cases) was given Jianwei Yuyang Granule and the control group(38 cases) was given three kinds of western medicines combined.H.pylori was detected by urease test on biopsy specimen of gastric mucosa and Warthin-Starry method and the changes of expressions of PS_2 and platelet activating factor(PAF) were observed.The contents of aninohexose and phosphatide in gastric mucosa were determined at the same time.All patients were rechecked gastroscope in the 6th week. AIM: To investigate Jianwei Yuyang Granule(Radix Bupleuri,Radix codonopsis,Radix paeoniae alba,Rhizoma corydalis,etc.) the effects of on curative effect and quality of life of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-positive peptic ulcer(PU) patients. METHODS: 46 Hp-positive PU patients whose differentiation of symptoms and signs of the traditional Chinese medicine was the stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen type were divided randomly into Jianwei Yuyang Granule group and western medicine control group(Metronidazole,amoxycillin and ondansetron).Eradicative rate of Hp、curative effect under gastroscope、clinical curative effect in Chinese medicine syndrome were observed and quality of life were evaluated by McMaster questionnaire. AIM: To observe the influences of Jianwei Yuyang Pills(Radix pseudostellariae,Pericarpium citri reticulatae,Rhizoma dioscoreae, Fructus hordei germinatus,and Fructus crataegi) on the recurrence of peptic ulcer(PU),and the expressions of IL-1 and analyze its potential mechanism. METHODS: Thirty-six patients with gastric ulcer were chosen as Jianwei Yuyang Pills treatment group.In addition,the normal control group was set up(12 cases).The biospy specimens of gastric mucosa was detected to observe the change in immunohischemistry of IL-1 and in the contents of ninohexose and phosphatide of ulcerated gastric mucosa.
