Résumé

Objective To investigate the effect of video-based teaching in the training of nursing operation for newly-contracted nurses. Methods One hundred and twenty one nurses newly recruited in September 2011 to September 2012 were set as the control group, another 128 in October 2012 to October 2013 were set as the experiment group. The former were trained and assessed with traditional training method and the latter were trained for 1 year in video-based teaching methodology. After training, both groups were examined about their operation skills and meanwhile a survey on video-based teaching was conducted. Result After training, the results in operating skills evaluation in the experiment group were significantly better those of the control group (Z=2.82, P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with traditional training method, the video-based teaching can raise the level of nursing operation skills and significantly improve the quality of nursing, thus worthy of popularization and application.

Résumé

Applying multi-media combined with case teaching method to optimize pediatric dermatology teaching and clinical practice.The data of typical cases were collected by multi-media method,which can visually describe the characteristics of the cases and help students master the knowledge of pediatric dermatology by personal involvement.It can also cultivate students′ ability to analyze and solve problems as well as alleviate the conflicts between the clinical practice and lack of teaching case resources under the intense doctor-patient relationship.In conclusion,it is a teaching reform which deserves extending and applying.

Pediatric surgery is the important part of the paediatrics,and the complicated content,limited time and many difficulties are the main problems of pediatric surgery teaching.The bed side teaching is the supplement for the class teaching,which could solve those problems.Multi-media technique is used in bed side teaching of Pediatric surgery,which is convenient for preparing lesson and teaching of teachers and review and summary of students.After the technique is used,the teaching efficiency and the quality are obviously improved.

Collecting, managing and processing course material requires of much costs and efforts while they include a variety of data types particularly in the health field. Some engineering work on the material may help reduce the workload and costs to some extent. With such benefits having in mind, this paper tries to develop multimedial database for the course material of Oral Pathology in dental schools. It provides structured analysis of data for the course material, in which a unit of disease is a central class with relation to many other classes. It also achieved data independence from server applications by using the method concept of object-oriented database(OODB), which will increase reusability of the course data. Using another important concept of OODB, the system devised many functional utilities on an Internet web server including lecture notes, case studies, disease search, and question and answer, and shows how they are operated. But the effectiveness for the part of student users may remain to be evaluated.
