By analyzing the problems existing in the practice of doctor -patient communication , respectively discusses the speech act theory before the implementation of the implementation of doctor -patient communication oral English training , implementation , and after implementation of the positive role: instant help medical students to master a large number of medical English vocabulary;In view of the students come from different areas , instant help correct the pronunciation and intonation;Benefit based on speech act theory to guide the student to carry on the different roles played in English oral practice helps students to adopt direct and indirect speech act theory and the method of the oral English practice for communication;To improve medical students′professional recognition;To strengthen the medical students′sense of mission .

Résumé

Oral English teaching for Chinese postgraduates has always been focused on the drill of language skills,thus little attention was paid to the cultivation of students' thinking ability. This pa-per explored into the definition and theoretical basis of critical thinking and gave a case analysis of how to integrate the cultivation of critical thinking skills into the oral English classrooms in an effec-tive way. The questionnaire and interview among students showed that questioning,controversial dia-logue,debate and survey can help students to form the habit of critical thinking in an effective way and are also proved to be popular among medical postgraduates.

Résumé

Cooperative learning is a system of teaching pattern known for its contribution to the improvement of the class teaching effect,which has been successfully applied in middle schools and secondary vocational schools. Its application to oral English teaching for international nursing majors in higher vocational colleges can not only promote the students’oral English and communicative ability,but also help to cultivate their consciousness of cooperation and team work.
