Résumé

Objective To explore the influencing factors of coal workers''''cognitive function. Meth-ods There was a physical examination on 3205 workers in the coal mine enterprise. The physical examina-tion included height, weight, blood pressure, blood routine examination and routine urine test, and Mini Men-tal State Examination (MMSE) was used to evaluate the cognitive function. The coal workers were divided in-to cognitive dysfunction group (84 cases) and cognitive function normal group (3121 cases) according to MMSE scores.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of cognitive function. Results The prevalence of cognitive dysfunction was 2. 62% in coal workers. The age of the cognitive dys-function group(47.27±8.24) was significantly higher than that in the cognitive function normal group (41.39 ±8.65)(P<0.05),and the degree of culture in cognitive dysfunction group was significantly lower than those in the cognitive function normal group (χ2= 46. 610, P<0. 01 ) . The low density lipoprotein cholesterol ((2.72±0.65)mmol/L),urine pH(5.54±1.51) in the cognitive dysfunction group were significantly lower than those in the cognitive function normal group((2.89±0.73)mmol/L,(5.92±1.28))(P<0.05). The lo-gistic regression analysis showed that age, culture level, BMI, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, urine pH were the impacting factors of cognitive dysfunction. Conclusion Cognitive dysfunction is influenced by age, culture level,BMI and low density lipoprotein cholesterol. The higher of the age and the lower of the culture level,BMI,low density lipoprotein cholesterol, urine pH,the more vulnerable to cognitive dysfunction.

Résumé

Objective To explore the physiological and psychosocial risk factors of the patients with somatoform disorders and to provide references for clinical psychological intervention. Methods Totally 60 patients with somatoform disorder and 60 normal controls were tested with biochemical analyzer, electrocardiogram machine, electroencephalogram machine, computed tomographic scanner, general situation questionnaire, minnesota multiphasic personality inventory(MMPI),toronto alexithymia scale(TAS),life event scale(LES),defense style questionnaire(DSQ) and social support rating scale(SSRS) to explore the physiological and psychosocial risk factors of the patients with somatoform disorders. Results The score of immature defense styles of the study group(4.04±0.89) were higher than those in the control group(3.43 ± 0.65)with significant difference (P<0.05).The total and factor scores of TAS of study group((86.20±11.15),(21.12±3.28),(26.08±3.86),(18.21±4.69),(23.44±5.60)) were higher than control group((65.00±10.12),(12.43±5.18),(15.64±5.57),(15.56±3.16),(18.71 ±4.30)) with significant difference (P<0.05).The MMPI scale scores of Hs (hypochondriasis),D (depression),Hy (hysteria),Men-Nancy (Mf),Paranoid (Pa),Psychotic (Pt) were higher in patients with somatoform disorder ((72.79± 10.50),(68.46±13.63),(79.03±12.12),(51.72±7.74),(57.98±10.60),(54.98±8.83)) than those in normal controls((51.66±10.11),(47.96±9.42),(51.47±11.90),(43.66±8.77),(47.67±6.69),(47.48±8.67)) with significant difference(P<0.05).The total life event score and the negative life event score of LES of the study group ((89.66±68.60),(82.65±65.16)) were higher than those in the control group((56.00±56.79),(39.14± 46.05)) with significant difference (P< 0.05).Multiple factors logistic regression analysis showed immature defense styles, higher alexithymia score, higher negative life event score, higher HS,D,Hy of MMPI may increase the risk of somatoform disorders(OR=6.84,9.12,5.83,2.69,1.81,11.20,P<0.01).Conclusion Patients with somatoform disorder are almost in normal physiological condition. They have the personality characteristics and significant alexithymia.Their social support are almost normal, but they have more negative life events and their defense styles are almost immature.

ln literature the weight of negative emotions in the pathophysiology of rheumatoid arthritis is well known but there is little empirical evidence of positive impact of psychosocial variables on this disease. It is therefore the purpose of this paper to emphasize the psychobiological factors related to rheumatoid arthritis. We describe the epidemiological considerations, establishing physical symptoms, the most important psychosocial factors role of positive and negative emotions, social support, resilience, self-transcendence and the perception of disease in the evolution and prognosis of the rheumatic disease. Conclusion: positive psychosocial variables can promote mental and physical health and reduce negative effect in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Résumé

This study was performed to assess the effects of physiological factors and lifestyles on bone mineral density (BMD) in 64 postmenopausal women. Sixty four subjects were selected out of 223 postmenopausal women in Seoul and Kyunggido. The BMD of the lumbar spine (L2 -> L4) and femoral neck were measured dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA). Subjects were assigned to one of three groups such as normal (T-score > -1, n = 20), osteopenia (-2.5 L4), femoral neck were 0.84 g/cm2, 0.71 g/cm2 respectively. Years after menopause and age of last delivery of the osteoporosis and osteopenia group were significantly longer than the normal group (p < 0.05). The hours of exercise and outdoor activity of the normal group were longer than the osteoporosis and osteopenia group, but there were no significant differences among the three groups. The BMDs of these two sites were positively correlated with weight, BMI, hip and body fat and negatively correlated with LBM, TBW. These results show there are no consistent effects on bone mineral density, adjusting for age and BMI, of physiological factors and lifestyles in postmenopausal women. Therefore. this study confirmed that one of the most effective ways to minimize bone loss in postmenopausal women would be to maintain an adequate body weight.
