Discussion on teaching methods of traditional rehabilitation methodology for rehabilitation therapeutics major / 中华医学教育探索杂志

In view of the current teaching status of Traditional Rehabilitation Methodology for rehabilitation medicine specialty in higher medical colleges and universities,combining with the knowledge of some acupoints taught in this course,we put forward some suggestions for the teaching of this course.In teaching process of acupoints knowledge,while emphasizing the importance of its anatomical location,we should also attach importance to elaborating the name of acupoints and the rich cultural contents contained in the naming process.At the same time,paying attention to induction learning and finding memory rules,combining theoretical knowledge with classmates' hands-on practice,and encouraging students to participate early in clinical practice activities,we can develop students' practical work ability.

Multi-Teaching in Traditional Rehabilitation Approaches in Higher Vocational Education / 中国康复理论与实践

@#Objective To explore the effects of multi-teaching mode on traditional rehabilitation approaches in higher vocational education.Methods The students from 2007 rehabilitation class as the control group (n=35) were taught with routine mode and the students from 2008 rehabilitation class as experimental group (n=60) were taught with multi-teaching mode. The result of the examination and the questionnaire was compared after one semester. Results The experimental group got higher scores in examination of theory and practice than the control group (P<0.05). The result of questionnaire showed that the experimental group acquired more increase in some aspects such as the interest of study and self-study ability than the control group. Conclusion The multi-teaching mode may be easily accepted by students and can help them learn more knowledge effectively than before.

Effect of Exercise on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Stable Patients in Community / 中国康复理论与实践

@#ObjectiveTo observe the effect of exercise training on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) stable patients in community. MethodsTraditional Chinese exercise prescription was given to 20 COPD patients. They were assessed with 6-minute walk distance (6MWD), the Borg scale and the St. George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) before and after the training. ResultsThe Borg scales dropped from (4.45±2.04) to (3.15±2.13) （P＜0.05）. 6MWD increased from (370.32±74.48) m to (403.75±76.15) m （P＜0.05）. SGRQ scores also showed statistical significant difference （P＜0.05）. ConclusionExercise training can improve the tolerance and decrease dyspnea in COPD patients in stable stage. It also can improve the quality of life.
