Résumé

C57BL/6N is the most widely used inbred mouse strain applied in a wide variety of research areas including cancer, cardiovascular biology, developmental biology, diabetes and obesity, genetics, immunology, neurobiology, and sensorineural research. To compare the fertilization rates of C57BL/6NKorl mice with two commercial C57BL/6N stocks, differences in reproductive organ structures, sperm and egg numbers, fertilization rates, and embryo development rates among C57BL/6NKorl (Korea FDA source), C57BL/6NA (USA source), and C57BL/6NB (Japan source) mice were determined. Among the stocks, no significant differences were detected in organ weight and histological structure of male and female reproductive organs, although body weight was higher in C57BL/6NKorl mice than that in the other groups. The concentration and morphology of sperm and eggs in C57BL/6NKorl mice were similar to those of C57BL/6NA and C57BL/6NB mice. Furthermore, the three stocks had similar in vitro fertilization and embryo development rates, although these rates tended to be higher in C57BL/6NB mice. Pup body weight was higher in C57BL/6NKorl and C57BL/6NB mice than that in C57BL/6NA mice. The results of the present study suggest that C57BL/6NKorl, C57BL/6NA, and C57BL/6NB mice obtained from three different sources have similar fertilization and embryo development rates, although there were slight differences in the magnitude of their responses rates.

Résumé

Objectives The aim of the study was to establish a mouse model of endometriosis , and to observe the effects of endometriosis on the reproductive ability in the mice .Methods The mouse models of endometriosis was estab-lished by subcutaneous and intraperitoneal injection of heterogenous endometrium .The pregnancy rate and live embryo number in the experimental , sham operation and blank groups were observed and compared , and the effects of endometrio-sis on reproductive ability of the mice were evaluated .Results Two weeks after the establishment of the mouse model of endometriosis , there were lesions in the peritoneal cavity and subcutaneous tissue of the mice .Compared the pregnancy rates among the model group , sham operation group and blank group , the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05).Compared the live embryo number in the three groups , there were also significant differences (P<0.05).Con-clusions A mouse model of endometriosis is successfully established , and it demonstrates that endometriosis may affect the reproductive ability of mice .

This paper includes the results of a research work that pursued 2 objetives: -To elaborate measures of the General Scale of Progressive Matrixes Test by J. Raven and of the Test of Vocabulary of the Intelligence Scale Test by D.Weschler. -To determinate possible correlations among the results of both tests and between them and the variable academic yield. We considered the whole school population in a mixed high school in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán. The former hipothesis was the following one: if the correlation among the marks of the tests is meaningful and the correlation between these results and the academic yield is also meaningful, then both tests can be considered as good predictive elements of the academic performance and can also explain the difficulties that don`t respond to environmental variations.
