Résumé

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of CT-guided radiofrequency thermal coagulation in treating primary trigeminal neuralgia. Methods A total of 165 patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia were selected as research objects. The patients were randomly divided into radiofrequency thermal coagulation group (study group,n=83) and drug damage group (control group,n=82).For the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia,CT-guided radiofrequency thermal coagulation was carried out in the patients of the study group, and CT-guided percutaneous puncturing of oval foramen with epirubicin injection as chemical damage therapy was employed in the patients of the control group.Follow-up check-up was conducted at 3,6,12 and 36 months after the treatment.Visual analog score (VAS),total effective rate and incidence of complications were calculated and the results were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent therapeutic rate of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was remarkably lower than that in the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The VAS pain score of the study group was much lower than that of the control group. The total therapeutic effect in the study group was more prominent. Conclusion In treating primary trigeminal neuralgia,CT-guided radiofrequency thermal coagulation has excellent clinical effect. Therefore, this technique is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.

Résumé

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of multiple radiofrequency ablation therapy of trigeminal neuralgia. Methods 60 patients diagnoised as trigeminal neuralgia in our hospital were included from January 2014 to september 2014. The patients were randomly divided into two groups , 30 patients in treatment group and 30 patients in control group. Patients in treatment group were treated by multiple radiofrequency ablation therapy while patients in control group were treated by radiofrequency thermal coagulation therapy for trigeminal ganglion. Then comparing the curative effect of the two groups after the treatment. Results The VAS score showed insignificant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The multiple radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia is effective clinically as fewer complications and shows higher security.

Résumé

Since July 1988 to May 1989, we had used the microwa c radiation thermal coagulation method to treat 20 cases of large caverous hemangimas in the oro-maxillo-facial region. When a radiation antenna pin was inserted into tumor, blood and tissue within the tumor began to be coagulated by high temperature produced by the machine. After a full coagulation appeared, we might remove the tumor without bleeding by a surgical knife. This method of treatment has many advantages: (1) Lesser bleeding and blood transfusion; (2) convenient excision; (3) time for operation is markedly shortened; (4) patients who were contraindi-cated may be treated by this method. The authors consider that the microwave radiation thermal coagulation method for treating large caverous hemangiomas in the oro-maxillo-facial region is a rather ideal method up-to-date.
