Résumé

Objective To summarize clinical features and intervention therapeutic effect of congenital coronary artery fistulas (CAF) ,and to explore the method and therapeutic principle of transcatheter closure therapy .Methods 8 children in heart center of Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from 2006 to 2011 were conducted with transcatheter therapy ,the including clinic feature ,the type of CAF ,the type of occluder were analyzed retrospectively .Results Transcatheter closure of all ca-ses were successful .No residual shunt and other complications occurred ,during the follow-up period of 6 months to 5 years .Conclu-sion Transcatheter closure treatment is a safe and effective method for congenital CAF .

Résumé

PURPOSE: For the successful completion of transcatheter closure of atrial septal defects with the Amplatzer septal occluder, shape of the defects should be considered prior to selecting the device. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the results of a transcatheter closure of oval shaped atrial septal defect. MATERIALS AND METHODS: From November 2009 until November 2011, cardiac computed tomography was performed on 69 patients who needed a transcatheter closure of atrial septal defect. We defined an oval shaped atrial septal defect as the ratio of the shortest diameter to the longest diameter 0.05). The differences between the device size to the longest diameter of the defect and the ratios of the device size to the longest diameter were significantly smaller in the ovoid group (1.8+/-2.8 vs. 3.7+/-2.6 and 1.1+/-0.1 vs. 1.2+/-0.2). CONCLUSION: Transcatheter closure of an oval shaped atrial septal defect was found to be safe with the smaller Amplatzer septal occluder device when compared with circular atrial septal defects.

Résumé

Objective To explore the method and therapeutic principle of transcatheter closure of coronary artery fistula, aortopulmonary collaterals and aortopulmonary window. Methods Interventional occlusion of 4 cases of coronary artery fistulas and 1 case of aortopulmonary collaterals with Cook coils, 1 case of coronary artery fistulas and 1 case of aortopulmonary window with AGA Amplatzer duct occluder. The mean age of 7 children were 8.5 years. Results Transcatheter closure of 7 cases of vascular malformations were successful. During the follow-up period of 1 month to 5 years, no residual shunt and other complications appeared. Conclusion The curative effect of transcatheter closure of vascular malformations was good. But for the occlusions′ success and prevention from complications occurrence, the indications of closure should be obeyed, the time of X-ray exposure should be less than 60 minutes.
