Allergic reaction to bismuth-lodoform-paraffin paste [BIPP] following ear surgery

Bismuth lodoform Paraffin Paste [BIPP] impregnated ribbon gauze is one of the most commonly used packs after external and middle ear surgery. Allergic reaction to BIPP is rare.
