RESUMO
Six cases seen by us during the partial eclipse which occured in Egypt July 1973 ate discussed. The main complaint of the patients were central scotoma. The fundus picture was central dark area surrounded by aedema which subsided leaving only a dark spot. Follow up of the cases proved only a little change in the fundus picture although there was a significant change in the vision
