RESUMO

This work takes an interest of 9 patients presented small bowel inflammatory fistulas, essentially on Crohn's disease [5 cases] and intestinal turberculosis [4 cases]. The etiologic and pathogenetic data have been reminded. We insist on the relative youth of our patients [age average is 34 years old]. The diagnostic, clinical, paraclinical and etiologic means have elucidated. The therapeutic aspects and the nutritional side have been detailed. The accent has been puted on the favourable evolution under medical treatement of the tuberculous' fistulas. Usually the recovery of these patients has been obtained in 16 days. The fistula's recidivisn could obliged surgery 2 patients out of 5 patients have been operated

RESUMO

Adrenocortical tumors with cushing's syndrom are highly agressive tumors presenting high surgical risk. Thus, the pathological excessive production of androgen precursors and glucocorticoids leads to fatal metabolic consequences [salt retaining, hypokalemia, diabete.] and to many organs faillures [congestive heart failure, cerebral thrombosis]. More over, the very large incision to try a complete resection of the tumor and the very close vascular connexion of these tumors present an additionnel morbidity risk. We study 10 cases of Adrenocortical wich illustrates the most current problems met by the anesthesiologist during adrenocortical tumors surgery

RESUMO

The intestinal necrosis are a complication for 1 to 2% of surgical interventions on the abdominal aorta. They occurs more after cure of aneurysm than after surgical management of an occlusive l‚sion, and colon is ten times more involved than the small intestine for anatomical considerations. Their seriousness [mortality higher than 50%] associated to better management of the other coexistant extra-digestive Lesions make them the second cause of mortality in the surgery of the abdominal aorta in several western reviews. Our study in which we report the etiopathogenetic, diagnostic and more particularly preventive features of this complication is based on 2 fatal cases of intestinal necrosis, seen on a 6 years-period among 196 surgical interventions and reprensenting 1,025%

RESUMO

The post anoxic encephalopathy is caracterized by a 3 steps sequence: - Intial Hypoxia with 24 to 48 h of stupor - Apparent recovery during several days - Relapse with psychiatric and motor disorder or stupor Daleyed deterioration is a rare complication of sever anoxia. It may have a good evolution. The first cases have been described in association with carbon monoxide poisoning - Later other cases developped after cardiac arrest hypoglycemia have been reported. We present, 2 cases reports, which may enter in this entity: The fist one following a cardiac arrest, the second one after carbon monoxide poisonning
