RESUMO
The use of ketamine 1 mg/kg and droperidol 0.05 mg/kg has no significant haemodynamic effect in patients with end stage renal disease [ESRD]. This was observed in the study performed in 42 unpre-medicated patients with chronic renal failure, scheduled for creation of arterio-venous fistula in the arm under general anaesthesia

RESUMO
The factors preventing Bahraini medical graduates from joining the Department of Anesthesiology were studied in 49 Bahraini residents at Salmaniya Medical Center and Bahrain Defence Force Hospital. It was shown that the working conditions and lack of respect and consideration for the anesthesiologist are the main factors responsible for not attracting graduates to take anesthesiology as a career
