RESUMO

Urinary incontinence is a widely prevalent problem that affects people of all ages and levels of physical health both in healthcare settings and in the community [Kennedy et at., 1995]. This is a cross- sectional casecontrol field study carried out during the period from March 1996 to October 1996. It included a study group of 100 enurotic children and a control group of 30 healthy children. The two groups were randomly selected. This study shows that the cases decrease gradually with the increase of age. There is no statistical significant difference between males and Females in both cases and controls. Primary enuresis is higher than secondary enuresis. This work shows that 90% of cases have an abnormal sleep pattern. It reveals that daywetting decreases with the increase of age. The milestones are markedly delayed in enuretics [67%] in comparison to the control group [33%]
