RESUMO
Haemngiomas are the most common tumors of infancy, typically undergo rapid growth in the first year of life, then plateau period and involution, usually in the second year, but might be up to eight years. Haemangioma might be an obvious cutaneous lesion, or within a visceral organ [brain liver spleen, were the commonest sites]. Haemangioma can endanger a vital structures, sometimes associated with very serious coagulopathy.The combination of Haemangioma and coagulopathy is termed Kassabach-Merrit syndrome
