Presentamos una breve historia de la Cátedra de Anatomia Humana de la Facultad de Medicina de La Paz, recopilando documentos oficiales e investigaciones inéditas de docentes meritorios de nuestra facultad, partiendo de la fundación del Colegio de Ciencias Medicas, de la primera Cátedra de Anatomía, sus docentes y alumnos, de las prácticas de disección y los exámenes, sobre los textos de anatomía, y los pioneros encargados de cátedra hasta fines del siglo XX.

We present a brief history of the subject Human Anatomy of the Medical School of La Paz, gathering official documents and unpublished investigations of meritorious teachers of our School , on the foundation of the College of Medical Sciences.
