Recurrence in cancer breast

CB is the most prevalent cancer among Egyptian women. It constitutes 22.1% of cases in our oncology department. The median age is 50 y. 90% are IDC. 50.2% of cases are locally advanced [stage 3].Overall recurrence rate is 25.5%. The commonest site of recurrence is bone followed by LRR and lungs and finally the liver. Prognostic factors are studied including stage, nodal status, grade and others.
